As someone who had the privilege of running a top-tier restaurant in downtown Toronto for three years, I’ve experienced some of the finest dining this country has to offer. After dining at AnnDinning, I can confidently say that it is the only restaurant in London, Ontario, that comes close to rivaling any top-tier establishment in Toronto—or even New York.
AnnDinning isn’t a place for a quick in-and-out meal. Instead, they offer a dining experience like no other, marked by an electric vibe and a dedication to detail. Yes, the music is loud, and yes, the courses are spaced out, but that’s intentional. This restaurant wants you to experience your meal—giving you time to savor each dish, rather than rushing you through like just another number. The experience they offer takes time, and that’s what sets them apart from the crowd.
Let’s talk about the food. The menu is a stunning showcase of locally sourced ingredients, and it’s clear that every dish is crafted with care. Their cocktail list is extensive, with beautiful concoctions that perfectly complement their dishes. For those who think vegan options are an afterthought in fine dining—think again. AnnDinning offers a proper vegan dish that even non-vegans would love.
During our meal, we had the scallops, Brussels sprouts, dumplings, and one of the monthly menu spotlights: their mac & cheese. Each dish was a masterpiece, perfectly timed and impeccably plated. The attention to detail in each course is evident in the textures, flavors, and presentation.
As for the other reviews you might have seen, take them with a grain of salt. Many people simply don’t understand what goes into a proper dining experience. AnnDinning isn’t just about the food; it’s about the atmosphere, the pacing, and the craftsmanship behind every dish. They’ve achieved something truly special here, and I believe it deserves to be recognized.
Congratulations to the chef and the entire team at AnnDinning—this is a triumph for the...
Read moreThis place is well located with great parking, a nice patio and a really cool vibe with trendy decor. I wanted to love it and even went back a second time but feel the food, while beautifully plated is mediocre. Their cocktails are amazing but expensive at $16-18. I love the Blue Lemonade and Kombucha Sangria and have also tried the Cosmo. For the food - Steak Tartare is delicious. Arugula Salad and Sikil Pak are some of the better tasting items. The Gnocchi and Brussels are both decent but there is definitely room for improvement. Items I wouldn’t order again: Crispy Mash - weird texture / overpowering flavours of Dijon mustard, Steak Bites were covered in so much batter and not good, Cornish Hen (nightly special) - the meat itself was well cooked and delicious, the accompaniments not so much. We indulged during both experiences with several cocktails and dishes and can conclude this place is over priced. I wish I could have loved everything on the menu but didn’t. Earned 3 stars for delicious cocktails and a really unique vibe. I promise to come back...
Read moreANND Dining was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in London. To start I made a reservation a week in advance for my husbands birthday and when we arrived the host said she didn’t really have a table for us then proceeded to sit us at a table on the patio hidden in a back corner. The table was covered in cob webs and bird waste and no one bothered to clean it for us. The service was so painfully slow and servers were so inattentive. I ordered a cocktail that was so horribly made I had to send it back, however when we received the bill it was still on there. When we asked the server why it wasn’t removed she told us everything stays on the bill even if you send something back because it was inedible. What????? The menu was disappointing, the food was over priced and disgusting. We maybe had 2 bites of each dish we ordered then just asked for the bill because we couldn’t wait to get out of there. Worst dining experience ever, will never go back, and will advise...
