Armando's Pizza - Ouellette — Restaurant in Ontario

First time trying this, been hearing so much about this place for being one of the "best pizza" places in Windsor.

Was looking forward to eating it, but my experience was just terrible. Whoever made my pizza was wearing TOO much cologne or perfume, the entire dough tasted like just that, it even overwhelmed the toppings so I couldn't taste anything else....

When I was there the staff was nice but the pizza was terrible, I can't believe I paid $30 for this.

Update: I called and they offered a store credit for another pizza, I'll see how the next one goes.

Update2: Ok haha I guess this store is calling me a liar now, "we are not sure how this accusation could be true" "we don't think this review is entirely true" "we are scent free", I'm amazed how your employee didn't mention any of this while on the phone with me but just went along. Well I'm not sure how a "scent free" shop can produce such a scent-ful pizza.

It's a shame that I drove there specifically to have a taste for Windsor's "best" pizza and got a pile of dough full of perfume and then the store calling me a liar, you can keep that store credit of yours like I want another pizza with cologne topping,...

This family run location offers take-out/delivery, and is a fantastic addition to downtown Windsor! It’s right across from the hospital and on a main downtown street. Great place to stop in for a quick slice at lunch, or to grab dinner. The man working the counter was smiling from ear to ear, very nice and made our order perfectly when we stopped in for takeout! He had plenty of jokes and was very easy going. We ordered delivery a few weeks later and the woman answering the phones was friendly, upbeat and repeated our order back clearly. Delivery was fast and went smooth! Our salad was fresh, plenty of toppings (loveeee the one with cranberry’s or the greek), and the pizza crust was the right amount of crispy and delicious (not floppy!!!). Toppings were balanced, sauce was great and a good amount of cheese (btw they use the locally made GALATI mozzarella cheese, so none of that fake “cheese” that many other places are using…makes a huge difference in flavor!!).

We will continue ordering from this location…thank you for the phenomenal quality of food and excellent customer service (both are hard to come by these days!!). Support local, family...

I ordered a pizza for delivery at Armandos on Oullete. The Pizza took way too long. When they delivered to my house they just left it on the porch on the floor in front of my door. The guy who deliver it didn't call me, or ring the doorbell. I called Armando's and they claimed that I was given instructions on Doordash to be delivered like that. I told the guy that I never wrote any instructions to deliver like that. He insisted I did and told me he would send a picture with my instructions when I clearly did not even write any special instructions. How would I know he wouldn't send me someone else's picture. My pizza was not hot by the time I realized the Doordash guy had left it on my front door and one of the dipping sauce was open.
