Asian Food Imports — Local services in Ontario

Have been going to this particular location for 10 years now. When I first moved to Windsor in 2010 this store was my only connection with my community. I remember making just enough money to survive at that time, spending majority of my hard earned money at this store because I missed home cooking. Even though I was on more than one occasion treated poorly I kept going back because I missed my mom, aunty and grandma's cooking. Today I am a successful citizen and resident of Windsor, every opportunity I get I take my friends and relatives to this store. I never check the receipt as being conned by my favourite business seemed unrealistic to me. Today I got charged twice for one item(motichoor laddoo) upon going back, wasting my time and money I was treated like a criminal. How dare I ask for my money back that I was charged incorrectly for? Let alone an apology I had to prove I did not return to their store to con them for 6.72$. I am so ashamed of this treatment and it breaks my heart. When uncle hi used to be at the store it would have never happened! I was teaching my younger nephews to support locally owned business but for what? To be treated like this for $7. It just...

The only bearable item is samosas. You can find better and cheaper options at Food Basics and FreshCo otherwise. Terrible customer service, which I had ignored in previous visits but I just had enough today! Rather than accepting that they gave me the wrong order, which I had tried to confirm previously before buying as I had my suspicions, they were confrontational, argumentative, not to mention, rude. I was right and had to go back to ask them to give me the right stuff but like I said, they were plain rude and tried to talk over us. I hate confrontation in the 1st place but they don't ever before and did not even now try to articulate well to deal nicely with customers! This experience was like a " bitter taste in my mouth"! I would think before going there next time 🤨🙁 And yes they had to replace my order as was given the wrong one but they did that while defending their error rather than apologizing or even just acknowledging. Someone please teach them to at least be polite ! I mean "you guys are in customer service FOR CRYING...

A good store with nice people except a girl who looks so skinny she behaves a bit odd except that everything goes well. Prices of the groceries and all you'll also get some Indian foods like samosa and sweets like motichur laddu like that. Also the vegetables are like i only buy tomatoes as they are cheaper there compared to freshco as well also dosa batter and only particular gorceries it's kinda Paisa vasool also Maggie are like 3 for 1$ you won't get the price anywhere in Windsor except there so for that again i prefer this...
