We usually have good food and great customer service.
This past Friday we went to the restaurant. We got greeted quick. The ladies were too busy socializing it took a while to show we were ready to order... they were still socializing. Took a while to get out food but it was hot and fresh from fryer. Only one thing of tarter sauce I was disappointed. Only thing I ate that day
That night about a few hours after I started feeling sick to my stomach and feeling off. I had tummy gurgles, tummy rumbles and cramps. My bestie and I were running for the bathroom. Him in his hotel room and me at my home. We had food poisoning. I was watching intensely of the cooks. Cross contamination is immanent. Nobody washed hands between raw food and cooked. No washing hands after so long. I noticed that there wasnt gloves when handling raw foods. It concerned me greatly. I suspect cross contamination after touching raw with cooked food when plating. The practice of washing hands is absolutely needed. And playing with money and handling food needs to stop Washing hands after handling peoples money is absolutely necessary.
Will not return... I'm not risking my health by poor preventing of illnesses and cross contaminations. I'm not happy...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in while my wife was parking the car. There was a woman sweeping the front entranceway and she said the restaurant closes in 30 minutes. I sat down at 6:35 and another woman informed me in a very stern loud voice that the restaurant closes in 25 minutes. I asked her what does that mean? she said everything shuts down at 7:10. I am allergic to eggs so I wanted to know if there is eggs in the batter. She walked halfway to the kitchen and came back to tell me she couldnāt tell me what the ingredients were. I asked the woman sweeping the entrance if the manager was in. She said that the rude woman IS the manage(not her words). At this point my wife came in and the manager relayed the incident to her except for the rude part. She was soft spoken and pleasant. Which was all bull. The only reason I gave them 1 star was because the woman sweeping the floor was very nice. My questions to the owners are why do you think the employees are OK to make customers uncomfortable when they come into your restaurant during regular posted hours and why donāt you know whatās in the food you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible. Was craving fish and chips and i ordered halibut . They asked how many pieces of fish Iād like and I asked how big they were . I was told 4 ounces . I ordered two for take out .
Instead of fish and chips I got CHIPS with a little bit of fish .
Nice portion of chips as they were coming out the box but the chips werenāt nearly crispy enough and needed more seasoning .
The fish portion was pathetic . I got the thinnest pieces of halibut Iāve ever seen. Both pieces combined werenāt even 4oz. I couldnāt believe they agreed to send this out but I guess people care less when itās take out and you donāt see your order right away.
Also was just a light coating of flour no batter and it was spotty leaving uneven finish on whatever it is they were trying to serve. Fish was dry and not pleasant at all.
Tartare sauce isnāt made in house and lacked flavour as well.
Donāt understand how something as simple as fish and chips can get messed up at all. It only happens when you donāt care .
