Following a previous review I felt obligated to share our own experience. We spend the most part of our summers on a boat in the Prescott Marina. We have a two year old (also well behaved) mid sized Bernedoodle. As we can not leave him alone on the boat, he follows us everywhere. Last summer, we called Chuck’s Roadhouse to see if dogs were accepted on the patio (as per Chuck’s Roadhouse official site « we welcome well behaved furry friends »), they confirmed that there was no problem. Once seated, the woman serving us, who was clearly uncomfortable, told us that the manager said that we had to tie our dog (then puppy) on the other side of the fence, in other words in the parking lot!!! There was no way that we were going to do that. We were then offered a table in the back near the emergency exit with no customers around, which we graciously accepted. Menus served, dog sleeping under the table, the manager (woman) comes to our table upset, telling us that we still had to tie our dog on the other side of the fence 😠 (parking lot). This was the last draw, disappointed, insulted and frustrated we ended up leaving. Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand that every restaurant has their own policies, and not every customer is a dog lover, but let’s be clear this is not a dog friendly restaurant. Having spoken to other dog owners at the marina who have experienced the same treatment, they are clearly missing out on some good business. So we now go to OHeaphy’s, where the friendly staff greets dogs with a bowl of water. And if you have the time to drive to Brockville, Buell Bistro is an amazing place to bring your furry friends. Here is our fur baby enjoying the patio at Buell Bistro.

Super disappointed with my experience here. I came with my husband and my 15 year old, well-behaved dog, hoping to enjoy meal on the patio after a boating weekend. Was told by the wait staff that the owner was there and he had a no dog policy, even on the patio. I was then offered to tie my dog to a fence *outside* the patio area while I dined—which felt both unsafe and unkind. I respect that businesses can set their own policies, but this one felt needlessly rigid, especially given that many restaurants now welcome leashed dogs on patios. If you're a dog owner, just be aware this place is not pet-friendly in any way. We ended up at Red George down the street and they welcomed my old girl and even brought her a bowl of water.

We were a table of 7 tonight. We enjoyed our dinner outside on the beautiful patio! The food was absolutely amazing and the service was fantastic! Each plate was piping hot and cooked to perfection! The proportions were huge! Denise was our waitress. She was extremely friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and has a great personality. Denise is a huge asset to your restaurant and deserves recognition! The other waitresses that helped served our food were great as well! Everyone was working very hard tonight! Also, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner tonight! Huge thumbs up to him for managing a great team! Everyone was impressed with this place tonight! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you guys for the great experience!

I used to go quite often to this chuck's it was me and my boyfriend's favorite place to eat and would go weekly. Thanks to the owner and the owners daughter that has changed. Not only do they not understand English enough to take my order properly, but the owners daughter likes to charge whatever she feels for everything. She charges us for takeout boxes, $2 a box and were aloud a maximum of two takeout containers. And I thought this was odd so I talked to other staff about it when she wasn't working and the other waitress said that wasn't right at all. But then again whenever I get the daughter, she charges me. But that's not even it, we are not aloud to order more then two appetizers on the half off after 9pm deal. No where on the website does it say there's a limit to how many appetizers you can order. Only that you need to purchase a drink with it, and we order at least 4 each time, two beer, two rum and coke. I again found this odd so I asked another waitress when I ordered food on phone, and she said no there's no limit as far as she knows. So I was at pretty much my last straw at this point and hadn't ordered from them in like like 3 weeks. But I figured since yesterday was my anniversary and my boyfriend and i loved their buckaroo and burger meal on our first date , i made the stupid decision to order it. i phone ordered it. Immediately I heard it was the daughter, so I already knew I was to excpect the service to be rude.

I arrived 5 minutes after I called like they said to, over the next 15 minutes and I was standing watching this woman organize menus, ask men at the bar if they need anything or want a refill, starting to clean, and eventually she made her way into the back and comes out a minute later and goes right back to the bar and stars wiping counters. ( keep in mind the entire restaurant has 7 people, 8 including me) about 5 minutes after she went to the back the owner comes out with my bag and I pull put my debit card to pay and he turns around with my food, rolls his eyes and deep sighs and comes back with a debit machine. I don't know why this would bother anyone considering card is way more frequently used then cash is and I never said on the phone cash or was even asked. He walks up to me with the debit machine and he wouldn't even make eye contact with me, and to top it all off he hits the 10% tip option and I didn't even realize until I got home. I was never asked or even given an option. Not that I would've tipped either way at that point though. What ruined my appetite was that the owners teeth were so yellow It looked like he had popcorn kernels covering them. And last but not least after all of that, when I got home and opened the bag with my dessert the pastry was cold and somehow black on top. OH! And I got food poisoning from the burger 👌 will definitely never be going to this chucks again and I will be contacting the official chucks, Because this...

We were seated quickly and the server took our order quickly. We orders cheesy bread as an appetizer as well as a burger and chicken and ribs. 20 minutes later the server brings out the bread and apologized for the wait then said the food should be out shortly. She then walked back to the kitchen, grabbed our food and came back and apologized again. We finished the cheesy bread then my partner bit into the burger. It was way over cooked. To the point it was black on the outside and dry grey inside. We kept trying to flag the server down however she seemed to be everywhere except near us. Finally we flagged her down and explained the charred burger. She apologized and promised another burger. She came back right away and said it would be about 3 to 5 minutes for the new one. Waited another 20 minutes and finally I went to the kitchen to find two servers chatting in the back and the cook looking confused when I said we are leaving we would like the bill. I added we better not be charged for the burger as we never got it. Such a disappointment since every other Chucks not only has amazing food, it also has amazing service. We will not be back. I'd rather drive the extra 20 minutes and go...
