The restaurant's seating was spacious and comfortable, but unfortunately, everything else fell short of expectations. When we arrived, we were given only one menu for two people, which felt odd, and the complementary papads were served quite late—something that should have been brought with the menu. To make matters worse, the service was extremely slow throughout our visit. At times, we even felt like the waiter forgot about us and didn’t notice we were sitting there.
We ordered one chicken soup, which turned out to be just chicken and watery broth, and one Afghani tikka, which was extremely hard and topped with only two small pieces of onion. Both dishes tasted like Costco chicken, and I honestly could have made better at home. At that point, we should have left, but we decided to stay and ordered butter chicken and pyaaz mirch naan. While the naan was decent, the butter chicken tasted off, and the chicken was, once again, very hard.
We brought this up to the staff, and they replaced the butter chicken with Reshmi Paneer and gave us a garlic naan. Unfortunately, the Reshmi Paneer didn’t taste good, the naan was undercooked, and the previous naan went to waste because it had gotten cold. To make things worse, even when we gave the restaurant a second chance, the garlic naan was still uncooked. Despite all of this, they didn’t replace the food.
At the end, we wanted to get dessert, but we didn’t because we had zero expectations left with them. Instead, we went to Dspot, which was definitely worth it. For a total of $50, we were extremely disappointed with the experience. I will definitely never recommend anyone to come to...

I rarely write reviews, but after visiting Delhi059 by Kanisk around 8-10 times over the last year, I feel compelled to share this gem. This isn't a solicited review; I'm writing this because I genuinely believe more people in Windsor need to know about this fantastic restaurant. I'm from Delhi, India, and have been living in Canada (Toronto and Windsor) for over eight years. In that time, I’ve only found 2 or 3 Indian places that truly satisfy my craving for authentic flavors—and this is one of them. Trust me when I say, you won't regret coming here. The wait staff is incredibly polite and friendly, and the service is always efficient. The food, however, is the real star. It is always top-notch in taste, quality, and quantity. Every single dish is made with attention to flavor that transports you right back to India. A special shout-out to a few favorites: the Dal Makhani and Reshmi Paneer are absolutely divine. I recently tried the new buffet service, and it is top-notch—the taste, quality, and variety are all excellent. I had the Chole in the buffet, and wow! And now, for the highest praise I can give: the samosa. This is the only nice samosa I’ve had since moving to Canada. I used to eat them at places in Chandni Chowk or the proper halwai dukaan (sweet shops), so you know I'm talking about the best of the best. I can restrictively give this restaurant an 8/10 for the samosa—that's how good it is. The staff, the food, the location—everything here is amazing. Delhi059 is...

Cons: parking (good luck) if picking up food be prepared to stand for a long time. ( Lack of hospitality can be solved by adding a couple of chairs for pickup orders) simple orders take exorbitant time for prep there was a delivery person (Ubereats I think) his order got cancelled due to crazy prep time when the customer expects instant food based on app information I ordered a surprise bag for 7.77$ incl taxes - I got rice mixed with butter chicken gravy. Chicken was pre boiled, gravy was prepared prior to prep, rice was already cooked. The final dish was ideally just mixing 3 items and packing in a box - I waited 45 mins. So good luck if you have less time. One server for the entire restaurant on busy day was a flaw. Maybe the restaurant is cost cutting on labor which shows in time for food prep, delivery, etc.
Windsor has highest unemployment, when the food/ dish is priced the way they are, there is room for hiring +1 in serving and +2 in kitchen....maybe
Suggestion - only people who wish to stay and live and enjoy food for hours should consider the delicious (if believed) food here. Personally I would rather go to Indian Paradise or Biryani house or something else on the same road next time.
There was no issue with the food, but I lost my appetite just waiting for this easy dish (rice mixed with butter...
