Vitamin Juice Café — Restaurant in Ontario

I wasn’t going to leave a review but the drinks are just soo bad. I ordered two drinks, it took 25 minutes to get the drinks. Someone came in while I was waiting and walked out because he saw how long it was taking. They’re undrinkable. One drink had a hard lump of ice cream at the bottom and layers of different flavours which doesn’t even taste good. It would honestly be better if they made a proper menu instead of having four flavours and the drinks are just a combination of the same few flavours. The other drink was warmer than room temperature which was supposed to be a cold smoothie, and it wasn’t even the fruit that the menu states… I wouldn’t even risk the diarrhea from drinking it. It was warm strawberry banana puree and yogurt mixed together without ice. The cup wasn’t even full but I wouldn’t drink it anyways. The worker asked if I wanted to add ice to it after the fact. $10 for one drink and $12 for the other. I was on my lunch break looking for something healthy and wanted to support a local biz. I never write reviews however I’m shocked that this place isn’t getting the rating it deserves. I don’t understand why the bad reviews. I live a couple blocks away so I’ve been there numerous times and the service is always great. They did close for a few weeks due to renovations and had a sign on the front door but obviously a lot of people can’t read signs.

Today was my 6th or 7th visit and everything exceeded expectations. Drinks were cold and fresh fruit was used. The young gentlemen that made my drink was still training so it did take a little longer than usual but that’s normal for a local business with new employees. I ordered Crepe Nutella and fruit salad from this store. The Nutella wasn't Nutella. It was a low quality spread that had chocolate color and sweet taste. I threw up on taking three bites and had to throw the rest as the crepe Nutella was smelling horribly bad. The fruit salad had stale fruits and something that looked like whipped cream on top had a sandy texture and I found that extremely weird.

A message for the store: Please do not label something in your menu with 'Nutella' if you don't actually have...
