Eunice Sushi — Restaurant in Ontario

Not sure where this top rating came from?? Not great sushi 👎🏻 without going into to much unnecessary details (which isn't required in this)... my wife and I had been wanting to try Eunice for a long time, we were nice and hungry so we figured getting a party plater to go pickup, take home and enjoy on the back porch would be great. We were wrong.

This isn't good sushi at all, not sure if it's all nearby college kids giving the ratings, but seriously, not good there are so many better places in Kingston it would be a big waste to go here.

It tastes like everything is prepped hours before it's put together, the antithesis of fresh sushi. Have I had worse, for sure, but this is a B- grade from me. Off the want to go list fortunately, but we won't ever be...

Excellent food, very friendly owner, quiet fast. I feel they took great pride in their food, and it showed in how great it all tasted. The sushi was large and the Yam Appetizer was lots and well done, as we're the spring rolls. My meal came with a nice salad and miso soup. For desert I was given half an apple sliced, I'm not sure what kind of apple it was, but it was a very nice touch. All my food came quickly and at once including the Appetizer, the miso and salad. This ended up becoming essentially a 4 course meal for ~$15 per person. My order for two people was Spicy salmon, spicy tuna, yam, Appetizer and spring rolls. Got the red dragon roll as others suggested in the comments and 8 pieces salmon sushi and was not disappointed. Ordered at the restaurant at lunch time, and order was made fresh right away. Wait only took 5 minutes. There was no seating inside due to covid. Overall red dragon roll was very delicious and the rice was even a bit warm due to the tempura shrimp on the inside. Friend got the salmon sushi and said the ratio of rice to fish was really good. Also said the red dragon roll was very legit. On the pricier side; I think the full red dragon roll and 8 piece salmon sushi was $12.99 was each pre tax - was under $30 for both things with tax. But quality was great so you're...
