Subway — Restaurant in Ontario

I went into Subway on January 22nd, to redeem by birthday cookie and drink. I had activated my offers on my app, so that I could scan it at the register to redeem them through the register, in person. Prior to scanning the app at the register, I told the person working that I had these rewards and wanted to redeem them. I also told her that I already had them activated, and that it should give her a prompt to redeem it through the register. However, when I told her this, she cut me off mid-sentance and told me that she cant and that she will not give me my rewards. I asked her why, as I went through all thr right steps to redeem it, and she said it was because I had to order online. If this is the case, why does it give me the option to activate it and scan it at the register?? On top of this, it said on the screen after I scanned my barcode "free birthday reward redeemed", but she would not give it to me. She then asked me if I wanted to pay for the drink and cookies. No, of course not!! Very disappointing service....

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Subway. The guy working there was super rude. I asked him for the Wi-Fi password, and he just mumbled something and continued making someone else’s order. I never even got it, so I couldn’t use the app for the discount. Someone else gave me their hotspot, but I didnt have time to pull up the discount code

Out of nowhere, he assumed I couldn’t pay and was about to stop making my order. He actually asked me if I had money. I told him, “Yes, I have the money,” and he made me pay halfway through making the sandwich.

He put like one line of sauce on it, the sub ended up being mediocre at best. Overall, this was the worst Subway experience I’ve ever had, never coming back here, you...

Went in on a Saturday night at 9:26 for a sub, since they're hours online and in-store says they're open until 10:30. The lady who was working and serving 2 customers said that she was closing early at 9:30 since she was the only one in that night. This happens pretty much every night that I walk by.

Edit: 02/18/2025 They have since been open for the times that they have posted. Food is good, and the workers are efficient at what they do - it would be nice if there was some seating, but it's a nice spot if you just need to grab something to...
