Tonight we had a group reservation. We were greeted at the door and seated at our table by the owner. There were only 4 other tables seated in the entire restaurant, so it was a quite night. We had a great waitress, who took our drink orders and was very pleasant. She asked if we’d like to order, but we were waiting on others from out of town to join us. We were there for about 30min before the last of our group showed up. At this time the owner came to the table to speak with the person from our group that made the reservation. The owner made a scene and told us we had to leave because we were taking too long to order food. We explained we were waiting for everyone to arrive so we could all order together. He didn’t care and said he didn’t want to serve us if we were only talking and having drinks. We again explained, we were waiting for the last couple guests. He stormed off into the kitchen and some of the staff came over and said they would calm him down and they would like us to stay. As a group we decided to stay and give this New Restaurant a fair chance. The waitress came over and again apologized for the scene and was happy to take our orders. The service was reasonable, and some of the dishes looking fantastic. One of the people had a chicken sandwich, which was raw a couple bites into it. The plate was taken away and they were offered another dish. They chose a salad to avoid another raw dinner. At the end of the night our bills were handed to us with the gratuities add. Some how a $22 entire with an iced tea came to a total of $45.34 I questioned to total, and they didn’t have a bill, only the totals for each person
As we were getting ready to go, that would have been a great time for the owner to come by and apologize for his rude behaviour earlier before our party of 10-12 stayed to enjoy our evening. Instead he stood behind the bar drinking his wine, watching us as we were settling up and the groups was leaving.

Read moreMy boyfriend took me here for my birthday and it was a wonderful experience. Immediately upon entry we were greeted and they offered to take our coats. I'm not sure what the best part was the server who was welcoming, friendly, attentive with a bonus great sense of humour and also very knowledgeable of the entire menu including which wine to pair with what I was going to eat (I wish I could remember her name I'm sorry) or the chef who is VERY talented, amazing and kind! And the food... Oh my goodness! We started with the calamari which was the best I've ever had. My man got the burger (probably the best burger I've ever had a bite of) and when there was an issue with my first meal (MY FAULT) the chef came to the table immediately asking what he could make instead and I asked him to make what he would recommend and the chef brought me the Peruvian grilled chicken (I don't think I've ever had better chicken). IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! We also had strawberry cheesecake for dessert which was the perfect end to the meal. Honestly, EVERYTHING was beyond wonderful! The atmosphere is lovely. They have a little spot in the corner which felt very romantic and cozy. We will definitely be returning. Considering everything we had it was also very fair in the pricing especially for how amazing it all was! (I wish we took photos to post but it was too delicious to stop and think of that). All the tables seemed full yet service was still fast (without being rushed).
Thank you again to our wonderful server and the chef. You helped make it a lovely birthday. We have already been telling everyone about it and...
