Been going to frenchys for yrsss! I always introduce new people to frenchys who are out of town or never tried it. However today I went after not going for quite sometime and got a pulled pork poutine with extra pork and cheese along with pork sliders. Came home and what a waste of money! The containers are new so the portion is a tad smaller which is fine but the cheese curds were not melted and all on top, none throughout the rest of the poutine, the pulled pork was in the middle like a patty on top of fries and under...all burnt together and dry as heck.. it was the nastiest poutine ever! I threw it out. Go to eat sliders and same issue, pork was so dry and burnt.. when pulling the burnt pork apart there was this slimy nasty substance in middle as if they just threw it on grill and smashed it into one big chunk and didnt cook it through or chop it up. Prob wont be going back.. was different staff then usual 🤮 bummer as I really love frenchys and today made my stomach turn. Maybe change the cook that was on today.. Sept 26th 2023 at 530pm. Or teach them how to do it. They def didnt make a grand poutine that I know frenchys for nor sliders. You can see how dry the pork is on sliders with cold cheese. And second pic is after I pulled apart the massive burnt chunk along middle of poutine... usually theres cheese, pork and gravy all throughout and its melted and so good! Definitely not what Im use to from here. Maybe just a mistake but Definitely disappointed I made the drive and...
Read moreDingy and dark, smells like the blue stuff you put in toilets sitting at the tables behind the panel wall but too smokey sitting near the kitchen. The booth is rock hard with no cushion and all the leather chairs are flaking away. Apparently they changed the sizes recently the sizes are absolutely ridiculous. A medium-sized poutine is more like a snack. I've worked in multiple restaurants and the size of their medium poutine is half the size of a typical small poutine. The large is the size of a small. I'm an absolute poutine fanatic and was born in Canada this is not good poutine. Expensive as well, there are so many better places to get a poutine, some how worse than a Harvey's poutine. They don't have have any plates or cutlery everything is served in take out containers even if you eat there. They fill the container way too much to give an illusion that you've gotten a good deal but in reality all you're food just falls out of the take out container and everything becomes instantly soggy in a bad way. The fries are very average. Mushrooms are canned and pretty meh. Gravy is good. Was so excited to try because all the hype, disappointing. Go to Simon's down the road for a better deal and...

Amazing Food - super nice Service
Frenchy’s and their Poutines were recommended to us by our Hotel as the best place to eat Poutine in Windsor - so we tried it. And it was the right choice. The store may look too dark and a little bit worn down. But the waiting customers, who get all their food in a few minutes, showed us that it's worth the wait. The amazing service by the staff guided us through the menus and already indicated that it's gonna be big portions. We chose the Pulled Pork and the Smoked Meat Poutines with several other toppings. Within a few minutes we got the big servings and were surprised how rich and amazing these Canadian stables are. The gravy is delicious, the plate is filled with cross fries and so much cheese. The Toppings fit into it way too good to the great protein choices and everything makes a big portion of northern soul-food. That the Canadian friendliness is caring for the whole visit for every guest is just the tip of this amazing experience. Go to Frenchy’s and enjoy an amazing meal! No recommendation - more of...
