The City Market — Local services in Ontario

The problem with City Market is that no one consistently stays in the market. It's impossible To get to know any of the vendors because they don't last for more than a few months. Everybody that's going in there as far as fruit vegetables has left after a short stay. There is a baker that is in the far corner That has been there for quite some time. I'm not sure the name of the bakery but There is the best thing going in there. It's clean. There's plenty of parking. But it's just bizarre that They go through so many vendors. Has become pretty sad tbh. Half the vendors booths are for lease, and many of the booths I've never actually seen open because they apparently on run on weekends. I used to come here daily to buy sushi, come for a smoothie or to get fries at Hobo Piez, but all of those booths have packed up and left and it looks like most are following. Food4Less is sadly understocked and majority of it isn't even food, and as much as I love Sunrise backery their stuff can be grossly overpriced (and one of my friends saw the cashier being racist towards another customer). I ordered a chicken burger, and while the taste was passable—nothing special, just average—the experience left me uncomfortable. The man who handed me the food, an older gentleman, had a noticeably long pink fingernail. What really bothered me was that he was using this nail to stir food behind the counter, which felt unhygienic and off-putting.
