Gatsby's Restaurant — Restaurant in Ontario

Ricco Taco is now located at the Gatsby Restaurant. It was a little confusing identifying Ricco Taco's new location as the Gatsby signage was distinctive and the Ricco Taco's unremarkable. In fairness the construction signs obscured their location too. But the food was Mexican and it was good. Limited menu but tasty. Actually really liked our lunch. We chose 2 entrees to go (a storm was looming) wings and 3 beef Burri Tacos with dipping sauce. We shared the entrees and concluded it was very good and would go back. Visited Windsor on business and needed lunch on the way back to the US. Spotted Gatsby’s and said why not. Was pleasantly surprised!! The inside is modest, clean, has that sort of “Cheers” bar feel. The sweet waitress was fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious and the best part was the owner came by and brought our table a scoop of the MOST delicious potato salad I’ve ever had to try. He was a salt of the earth kind of guy, looking for feedback and overall left a great impression on our group. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces after a long day. Give this...

Went for a staff outing after work. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The owner, however, would not leave anyone alone, guests and staff alike. He kept walking around micro managing his workers, at one point berating a waitress for saying hello to someone she knew in the parking lot. He shamelessly scolded her in front of several patrons and told her if she did that again to just go home. The food from Rico Taco was great. They should find a different kitchen to work out of, not sure how they can deal...
