As someone who works in the customer service industry and worked for 6 years in fast food - the customer service we received today was absolutely horrendous.
We ordered a heart shaped pizza for Valentine’s Day, along with a garlic bread loaf with cheese. We called this order in to the call centre. We picked the order up from the storefront. We realized once we got home that the garlic bread didn’t have the cheese on it like we thought we paid for. When we got back to the storefront, the employee told us that we didn’t pay for cheese. Clearly, there was a discrepancy between the call centre and Gino’s, as I was clear that I would like cheese on the garlic loaf.
The employee said that they wouldn’t add cheese and that they don’t give out free food - that is fair. However, as a customer who ordered through the call centre and did not receive what we ordered - it is very upsetting especially on a holiday that we are trying to celebrate. We received attitude from the employee, and manager about this issue.
I cannot in good conscience recommend ordering from this Gino’s. If you must - consider having it delivered or go on over to Domino’s who have amazing customer...
Read moreLooked up an offer on the app and went to this location to order, only to be told by the person at the counter that we can’t do the offer in that particular way, even when the Gino’s pizza official website (Not Uber or DoorDash) allowed us to. So when we wanted to order something else, as we were confused by this, we asked the crew member questions regarding their pizza and offers, and she didn’t even know enough information to guide us appropriately, ultimately ending up in us paying a lot more than we had to do, for no reason. Later when we got home with the order, both the pizzas were undercooked, and both of us woke up today morning with a very sick stomach. I am very disappointed and annoyed at their food safety and customer service. The least every franchise owner can do is to train their team on the menu properly so that they are fit and ready to answer any questions the customers may ask. Its not bad for a quick dinner option but is not a delectable culinary experiance by all means. Quick, cheap easy fast food is the best way to describe it.
