Slow Service Mars Sweet Treats

On a hot summer day, Mr. Choco seemed like the perfect spot for an ice cream fix. I was looking forward to a refreshing treat and ordered a caramel sundae; my party opted for a strawberry bubble tea. While the sundae was good and inexpensive, and the strawberry bubble tea was alright, the overall experience was significantly hampered by incredibly slow service.

My companion and I waited a full 20 minutes for our order, despite there being no sense of urgency from the person working. The lack of speed and apparent carelessness was quite frustrating. To add to the disappointment, my sundae was leaking down the sides when served, which felt like a clear sign of a lack of attention to detail.

While the prices and taste of the items were appealing, the extended wait time and what felt like a general disregard for presentation really detracted from what could have been a pleasant experience. hilarious place. both times ive been, the guy has been on the phone which wouldn't necessarily be a problem if both times my (single item) order wasn't messed up in some way. this time, i ordered a large milkshake with my friend (who ordered a medium) and he gave me a regular instead. after telling him about it he just put the contents of the medium drink in a large cup. charges you a dollar extra for canned whipped cream without letting you know it's an upcharge anywhere (not even the menu has any indication), and the milkshakes are ten dollars already and average at best. their website is also really funny. nearly entirely ai. im half convinced they respond to reviews with ai, too. this place is just funny. go to laugh at the prices, laugh at the fact that they describe their noodle crepes on their website as being "crepes filled with seasoned noodles", but please please please spend your ten dollars for a...

I was very depressed today and went for a drive just to see if I can calm down, till I saw the logo for Mr. Choco. I decided to walk in to see if I could cheer myself up. I walked in and felt like I just walked into my own house. I walked in feeling as if I’m working into my own house, I felt like I was home and was safe. I saw the menu and my eyes lit up with the pretty menu and the amazing delicious items. I ordered the crepe choco and it tasted like paradise, with a mojito which tasted like a sea of happiness. The customer service was a 10/10 and the taste was a 10/10. Thank you to the fellow who looked like johnny bravo who took care of me and even sat down and talked to me about my problems.
