I’ve had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant twice now, and both visits have been consistently impressive. If you’re a fan of Hakka cuisine—or even just curious to try it—this place is definitely worth checking out.

We started our meal with the hot and sour soup with chicken and shrimp. The flavor profile was spot-on: tangy, spicy, and full of depth. What made it even better was the addition of seafood—the shrimp added a nice texture and subtle sweetness that balanced the heat beautifully. It’s a great way to start a meal and something I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting for the first time.

For the main course, I had both the Tangria Masala Chicken and the Chili Chicken. The Tangria Masala Chicken was rich and aromatic, with a well-balanced blend of spices that gave it a unique character without being overwhelming. The Chili Chicken, on the other hand, delivered that satisfying kick you expect from a good Hakka dish—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and tossed in a flavorful, slightly spicy sauce.

One of the highlights of the meal was how well the gravies from both dishes complemented the rice. It turned a good meal into a truly satisfying one. The portions were generous, and the dishes were served hot and fresh.

The service has been friendly and efficient on both visits, and the staff is happy to offer recommendations if you’re not sure what to try. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting, with a casual yet warm atmosphere that makes it perfect for both quick meals and longer dinners with friends or family.

Overall, this has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots in London, Ontario. The consistency, flavor, and quality keep me coming back, and I look forward to visiting again on...

The food here is beyond delicious. This establishment had replaced Potato Noodle and everytime I try grabbing a table, it is too busy! This just goes to show how popular the place is. Despite us unable to get a seat, we ordered takeout. The lady helping us was so sweet and considerate, probably apologetic to the fact that both times I have tried coming to dine-in have failed haha.

The food took around 40 minutes to finish making and I was absolutely wow’d. First off, the portions are amazing and especially at their price - phenomenal. First thing we ordered were the chicken jhol momos and needless to say that these are the best momos I’ve had. They were so flavourful and such a good balance between umami, salty, spicy, and a bit of sour. The Hakka house chow mein had all the classic flavours that we know and love. One thing I’ll say about this, to be nit picky, is that I wish there were slightly more protein - but no complaints otherwise. The app platter was a great way to try all the popular non veg apps and the lollipop chicken by far was the fan favourite. Juicy, flavourful, tender - it was honestly so good we could eat just that. The Manchurian chicken was also amazing, slightly spicy and super flavourful. Last but not least, the mango lassi was your standard one: sweet and slightly tart.

Overall, this place has become one of my new favourite places to get takeout from (and I have leftovers for days!). I definitely would like to sit in and...

We went there for dinner tonight, and it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. Firstly, it took us a lot of effort to open the doors, which was not welcoming at all. As soon as we entered, we noticed a staff member eating dinner at one of the tables. She abruptly stood up, leaving her food on the table, went into the kitchen, and came back out within a few seconds with a plate of food to serve to customers. It was unclear if she washed her hands in between.

The food itself was not bad, and the portions were generous. However, the service was severely lacking. As we were finishing our meal, the server brought the bill, which included tips—something we found acceptable. But then, things took a turn for the worse. The server told us we had to leave because the restaurant was closing in five minutes. We asked for just a few more minutes to finish our drinks and remaining food, but she stood there, forcing us to chug our drinks and hurriedly swallow our food.

We completely understand that staff need to go home after closing, but in the restaurant business, it is common courtesy to let customers finish their meal before practically forcing them out. We have never experienced such disrespect for paying customers ever in Canada.

So, if you decide to visit this restaurant at night, be prepared to get kicked out five minutes before their...

I recently tried the Schezwan fried rice at this location, and it was both flavorful and satisfying. For anyone who enjoys Schezwan rice, I would also recommend trying their Hot Garlic Chicken Fried Rice—it offers a similar spice profile with a unique garlic twist that enhances the taste. A must-try item here is the Manchurian soup. If you prefer vegetarian, be sure to specify, as the chicken version sometimes has a strong aroma that might not be to everyone’s liking. The vegetarian soup comes loaded with tofu, broccoli, mushrooms, peas, and crispy fried noodles on top, adding a delightful mix of textures and flavors. I usually request that they skip the tofu bites and serve the fried noodles on the side, though this is a personal preference you can adjust to suit your taste. Following the soup and fried rice, I also tried the tandoori momos. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend them, as they were quite oily and heavily seasoned with Chinese flavors and bell peppers. If you’re craving momos, I suggest opting for the steamed version, which tends to be lighter and lets the natural flavors shine. Overall, my experience at this spot was enjoyable, with some standout dishes and a few I would skip next time.
