Harvey's — Restaurant in Ontario

I went here yesterday using a coupon for the stuffed cheeseburger combo then was charged directly after, I had my suspicions so I checked my bank account and they charged me full price. If you expect any kind of deal or have any coupon, don't go here because there is a chance they won't even use it Edit: it was around just after-noon, in the drive thru, I ordered the stuffed cheeseburger combo but had a poutine instead of fries(I know that poutine might be considered a premium side so it might not be included with the coupon but I informed her I had intentions of using the coupon before I asked what sides I could order) then I gave her the coupon which she very quickly discarded and gave me the chance to pay. I found this odd so after I paid I checked my bank app and noticed it was $11.29 rather than the roughly $9.03 it should have been. I didn't want to cause a scene because there was someone behind me so I just went home with it and wasn't able to write a review...

Love everything about this Harvey's. Owner and everyone that works there. Today however, the Owner wasn't there. This young girl this afternoon might as well been working on her own. The cook was still there and the young that took my order just stood there. He could have easily made the 2 milkshakes ordered or helped in drive thru but he threw on a patty, cooked it while other cook was cleaning up put it under the heat lamps and stood by the heat lamps with arms crossed. The girl did 3 drive thru orders, prepped the order in front of mine and made the milkshakes. By this time the main cook is gone and another guy came in and both stood with their arms crossed on the floor while she finished up! I didn't mind waiting but things sure could have gone better if the young kid...

There was no customers when I went in, nor employees at the front counter. A young guy emerged from the back, gave me a look like I ruined his night, then retreated to the back without a word (really uncomfortable). He was replaced by a young girl who gave me a plastic, monotone "Welcome to Harvey's, how may I help you." I got a poutine and there was just a blob of gravy in the middle with big chunks of bare cold cheese around the sides. I mixed it up and it wasn't awful, but these people don't care at all, it's not hard to move the ladle around while you put on the gravy so the cheese melts. The workers don't care and they make you feel unwanted even when it's not busy. Don't go here and burden the employees, they have more important things to do than...
