Non-edible food. Heard this place made the best blueberry muffins so I stopped by to get one with butter to enjoy on my drive. Received a muffin that was literally oozing uncooked batter in the middle (see photos) and a rock hard square of stone cold butter that could not be spread, let alone be stabbed with the plastic knife that the counter staff forgot to include until I reminded them. Are customers expected to gnaw on the butter rock? Sadly, $4.10 for a raw muffin and a butter rock was a total insult and waste of my time. UPDATE: Despite the owner posting a "something went wrong" note on this review, it is up to them to monitor their own kitchens and ensure they don't feed people raw food. Like most people, I am busy working and do not have the time to look up a number and call to advise them that they are serving raw food. They need to check their quality control themselves. For the owner to suggest that I need to help them manage their restaurant is neither practical or fair to ask of customers. If they can't get muffins right, then they need more help than cutsomer feedback. I will simply avoid dealing with this place and cut my losses. Everything else is just...
Read moreThe food and coffee at Juniper have always been very good, and I have had plenty of positive experiences up until today. When my friend and I arrived today, we saw that it was laptop free from 11-2. An individual working there informed us that we could use our laptops until it was busy, as during these hours seating is prioritized for customers without laptops-- which is not a problem. After 40 minutes a man came by and told us it was full so we put away our laptops and were finishing up our coffees. 5 minutes later, we were informed that they "needed the table", despite us not having finished coffee, and following the rules that had been outlined. I understand the pressure associated with running a business, and respect the rules instituted here, however given that there were no customers in line, several tables had been seated longer than us that had technology still in use, I was very taken a back as to this conversation. If there is such pressure for table space at this location, it could perhaps help for table time limits to be clearly communicated with customers beforehand, in order to avoid awkward interactions like this...

After one hour he came by and told us it was full so we put away our laptops and was going to finish my coffee before leaving. 5 minutes later, we got asked to leave after only being there for one hour total because they "needed the table" since people were "walking in, seeing it was full, and leaving." I wasn't even done my coffee. I understand seating time limits (I used to work at a restaurant and know they are trying to accommodate everyone); however, again, we had only been there for one hour... a strange experience. Maybe have a set time limit for seating to avoid an awkward...
