KFC — Restaurant in Ontario

Well... thats it for KFC for us. We have given this location multiple tries and there is nothing fast about this "fast" food place. Today, when I walked in there was 2 people waiting for their order to be packed and the cashier was in the process of doing so. There were 4 of us in line to place an order.

It took the cashier extremely long to pack the orders so she didn't take our orders right away. When she finally started to take our orders she was taking them 1 at a time and then wasting 2 to 4 minutes on other things before taking the next order. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be taken...let alone another 6 or 7 for the food to be made. Why didn't she take all 4 orders at the same reltive time like every other fast food joint?

I almost walked out a couple of times... in hind sight, I should have. My pop was just soda water to boot... we were already on the road, eager to leave before I had noticed.

2 or 3 KFC locations shut down in Hamilton. Simcoe location is always closed and caledonia takes incredible amounts of time to prepare simple orders. The writing is on the wall with whats happening to this chain.

You have done us a favor though, we are done with KFC before things get even worse. Popeyes and Mary Browns is better anyways, just KFC usually has more locations. We will never be back to a KFC. Over 10 back to back bad experiences at multiple locations over the course of a year or so... we should be eating healthier anyways. First time having KFC in likely 10 years. Couldn't have been more reassured I made the right choice that I'm making again, to never eat KFC again. The inside looked grimey and like it hadn't had a deep cleaning in 20 years. The organization and method of taking orders and serving them was possibly the worst I've ever witnessed. One person waiting the counter and literally taking one order at a time. And just leaning on the counter while the kitchen staff member got food orders ready. Only 4-5 people inside and took 20 mins just to place an order after saying "hello, I'd like to order". Both employees kept touching their faces and then handling food packaging. Sorry but eww, never saw hands being washed once.

Take the poor service and uncleanliness out of it and the chicken doesn't even taste the same and besides a drumstick, couldn't tell what part of the chicken it was from. One of my pieces of chicken was barely larger than a flatty chicken wing and it counts as one of ten pieces??

Horrible experience yet again. How is a place this bad still open for business? Never again for me and I hope others see this and think the same way. Force these overpriced and disgusting franchises to be better quality, better service and...

KFC needs to strip the owners of this franchise.... absolutely disgusting establishment, from the food to the employees... 8:07pm arrival doors were locked, the only customer in there let us in. 8:10pm Requested a bucket of chicken was told no ... they stop cooking chicken at 8... weird they are open until 9... the employees communicated by yelling at each other... the cashier persisted to scratch her face while waiting for our partial order to be served... fries cold and more stale then the owners of the establishment. They need a wake up call because the local garnage dump have better picking. Burnt and old cooking oil being used for their "chicken". Pure laziness and trash service... shut the place down KFC..

Will be calling corporate in the AM... and judging by all these fantastic reviews... these cheap and dirty owners shouldn't be allowed in the restaurant business let alone a franchise.

$50 for trash.

Also tried calling once arrived home (750m) from the establishment, calling a total of 7 times with in 10 minutes and of course "no answer" at 8:34pm when...
