I was not impressed at all with their distancing of tables. Yes they have tables marked "NOT to USE" which is good. Six of us arrived about 4:30 on Oct. 31/2020 this is our bubble, table in front and behind us were " Do not Use" tables we ordered our food only 1 waitress was there at the time and it was busy and she did good. The other waitress arrived I believe at 5 and things were ok until 6 people walked in and sat behind us at the table that is marked "Do Not Use". One of our group asked the waitress that came in last why are they sitting at a table that they shouldn't be at and she just laughed and said it was reserved for them??????? Really on a Do not Use table? Also there is a small partition beside that table with 2 people on the other side and they were not 6 ft apart. We were not happy about the situation at all and since we were almost done we didn't complain more. Now I wish I would have called for the manager because 1st as these people were French not sure if they may have been from Quebec? We have frequented this restaurant frequently before the pandemic and have always enjoyed their food but after last night even when this pandemic is over we will NOT be returning. Had I done something out of line to upset her, it would've made sense for her to have to be rude to me, but we left the place utterly confused and it kinda ruined my Sunday morning. She would act as if she couldn't understand me and make faces while making me repeat myself. I ordered for an avocado toast with soft eggs and I got a totally raw (hard and bitter) avocado, with hard poached eggs on them. I didn't return the food, I just ate the edible parts. I was told the pork chop, chicken and burgers weren't preseasoned and neither were the fries. When we got there it was a different story. Everything was preseasoned with spices and salt. The meat and fish were all from frozen. The server was helpful. She brought the owner out who was rude. We explained that we had called ahead and were told my wife could be accommodated. Everything has salt, she said, even the bread. We know bread has salt. It was unnecessary and rude. I'm not saying the restaurant doesn't have delicious food, we did not stay long enough to find out.
