KSC - Kingston Shawarma & Curries — Restaurant in Ontario

AMAZING!! I ordered this place very recently on Uber eats as they had a buy one get one. Most places in Kingston have horrible shawarma places with old chicken and horrible high prices and portions. This place exceeded all expectations. I was shocked when I saw the buy one get one and expected a small box. Two huge 40oz shawarma boxes showed up for $12.99!! Genuinely one of the best places ever the portion size is so amazing. On top of that there are a variety of sauces that can be added to the bowl for no cost. I added everything including: hummus, garlic paste, tahini, garlic sauce, etc and it was amazing. Usually stores make you pay extra but not this place. The boxes were full to the top with rice and chicken and the food smelt amazing right away. After eating it I was full extremely fast, this is definitely good for two people and families (Espically for the price)!!! I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know, as I do believe it’s the best shawarma place now in Kingston! I’m so glad I’ve tried it and will definitely be ordering again. If I had to give one piece of criticism it would be about the sauces. Although you can add a variety at no cost the amount is a bit low. The place was dirty, the guy begind the counter was holding a bucket of hummus with no gloves or no hair net/hat. I eat shawarmas almost on a daily basis, and I have never seen the meat been taken from a metal bowl. The meat is supposed to be cut from the spit as it is being placed on the pita. The "fresh" ingredients were nowhere to be found. The lady pulled them from under the counter. They squirted the garlic on the sandwich from a bottle, and the red turnip was dark purple. I managed to choke down a bite, giving it the benefit of the doubt, but nope, it was by the far the most disgusting Shawarma that I have ever...

If I could give this place a ZERO I would ! Reasonably priced medium beef donair … or so I thought . Very little meat, no sauce at all , I asked for pickled turnip and got one little piece. 4-5 pieces of onion, 3-4 pieces of tomato. And the lettuce was pretty much non existent, on a small dry broken pita …. All of that for the pleasure of throwing away $13.00 . Save your money and don’t go there . It’s the WORST Shawarma place in Kingston !!!
