I normally have recieved okay service at this location, however, today ( 11 May 2022) my drive thru order was taken by a staff member named Crystal. Crystal was awful. She was rude during my whole order, and when I had finished telling her what I would like, she just switched to the other speaker and started taking another order. I didn't even get a chance to make sure she took my order correctly (spoiler alert....she didn't) She didn't say please or thank you once during that interaction, and didn't even say "goodbye" or "drive on up" or anything to indicate that she was done. She was at the second window where I piced up my order, and she practically tossed my order out to me, again being very rude. She completely missed one of my drinks, so I said ( very politely I might add) "we are missing the medium vanilla milkshake" First she told me that I didn't order one. Then when I politely said again, that I had ordered two milkshakes, one vanilla and one chocolate, she said "yeah I don't have a cash here" and then closed the window on my face and refused to look at me.
Now, I want to be clear, that I didn't and don't expect free stuff. I completely understand that there isn't a cash at that window and there is a line of cars behind me all waiting for their orders. All that had to happen was for Crystal to use common courtesy and manners to explain that the drink was missed, and that she was unable to put it through at that window. I would have understood completely, and parked and walked in and order.( which is what I ended up doing so I could get my daughter her shake and to get the name of the troll at the window).
Crystal was so miserable and hateful that if I ever hear her voice on drive thru again, I will go elsewhere and not complete my order. Everyone has bad days. I completely relate, but it takes literally zero effort to be a decent human and use manners. Infact, it takes her more effort to be such a hateful and toxic human. I stopped in this restaurant after doing some shopping (7pm tues spet 7/21). myself and friend ordered our meals at the kiosk and waited for the food to be done. When my number was called we did not hear as it was a little noisy. the MANAGER in the RED shirt called my number 1009, As i was walking away she rudely and unprofessionally said "learn to listen!".i kept my cool... when we got to the table my friend was missing the 6pack mcnuggets he ordered. When he went to the counter with his bag to inform them they were missing one of the staff said "did you remove them from the bag?" we got is missing nuggets, next he went to eat his DOUBBLE quarter pounder to noticed there was only ONE patty. The label on the box stated "double". the guy working at the counter was very friendly and apologetic. now as we were upset about the service so far i went to eat my nuggets and they were cold and old. but what ever thats normal at this establishment. When i went to eat my bacon mcdouble "only bacon,only cheese" i noticed there was onion in the wrapper (im allergic to onion) and when i checked between the patties there was a handfull of onions tossed onto the burger. so nedless to say i went back to the counter and the guy still working there was friendly and told the guys in the back to smarten up and stop putting onions on the food for fun. have not had good luck with this place and always seems to get onions...

The following is what took place and my experience with the Pembroke McDonald’s. I made an online order (my first one) for take out, because I usually order and wait. I ordered the new 1/4lb meal, the special Big Mac box and 2 kids meals. When I arrived in the store I was the only one by the cash and the only order on the screen. I waited and received my order, filled my drinks and left because my family was in the car. Yes, I should have looked in the bags, but I didn’t. When we got home, there weren’t enough straws for the drinks (classic McDonald s) but the kids meals only had fry and burger, nothing else, no yogurt tube or anything.The special Big Mac box had the burger and fry but not the special thing that is supposed to make it worth the 14$ (not making that mistake again). And the app gave us a free small cheeseburger. Good thing I asked for cheese because that’s what I got. Bun, meat, cheese. All in all, for the 40+ dollars the order cost I got about 25$ worth of it. And I really don’t want to drive all the way back just to complain.
