Burger King — Restaurant in Ontario

I am very disappointed with what I saw this evening. We watched a gentleman walk into the restaurant without a mask which I wouldn't give a poor review on that alone. However when inside and ordering we saw this same gentleman come out from behind the counter carrying a beverage and exit the restaurant...still without his mask. I told the server and she said she would mention it. I asked if I could see her supervisor and when the supervisor came out I explained what happened. I was uncomfortable with the lack of regard for health and safety. She understood and agreed, asked if I would like to speak with the DM as he was in the back. That is when another employee (perhaps supervisor?) said NO. That was it just no and rather rudely I might add. I told the nice supervisor I had no need to speak with him anyway but I just wanted to make sure that the gentleman in question would be educated on today's health and safety practices. The Pembroke BK is one of those places that has a lot of potential to be a great place to grab a quick bite to eat, but instead it's one of it hose places you don't want to go to but do anyway because their prices a little better than the McDonald's down the street. The inside was remodels a few years ago and is nice. Most times when I go in the staff doesn't notice me because they're all in the kitchen and there doesn't appear to be a proper door bell system for them. The food I get is 50/50. Sometimes it's delightfully hot, other times it's just plain cold. The drive thru was for years (and as far as I know, still is) totally unusable because the owner refuses to fix the speaker and there's no way a customer can understand what's being said. Usually never post bad reviews, but tonight's visit to our local burger king really disappointed me. My husband went through drive through, and ordered a poutine and onion rings. The person taking the order never gave the total, or said anything, so we proceeded to drive to the window. The employee came to the window with his phone in his hand and it showed that he was playing a "bejeweled" type of game. We gave him cash and watched as he took a minute to give us our change because he had to stop to play the level on his phone. As a person who has worked in customer service, this was very unacceptable. When we got home, my husband noticed that there was no fork in the bag, and when he opened up the poutine, the receipt was lying in it covered in gravy. Beyond gross. Maybe management should be involved to make sure that food is handled properly and staff is actually doing the job they are...
