Well honestly, ONE star is what they deserve. My assessment is centered on service received, and meal consumed at this establishment. They’ve declined to honor McDonald promotional offer supporting COVID-19 First Responder, their explanation is the store owner no longer wishes to participate in that particular promotion. Apparently, the store owner is not residing on our planet, he’s obviously living on a sphere where COVID-19 does not exist. Therefore, he’s not experiencing or conscious of the agony that we’ve got to go through tackling such a deadly virus. That being said, therefore, honoring First Responder is obviously irrelevant to this penny-wise owner, and essentially would be squandering away what would be an extra income to him. Anyway, I paid for my coffee, and was unpleasantly served with a lukewarm coffee, while being scrutinized by rancid gawks. When I asked to have the coffee exchanged, it was as if I’m undertaking an act of pilfering their coffee. Since I’m sensing hostility, and the stiffened ill-disposed motionless employee did not respond, I asked for the manager. Annoyed, finally the manager dillydallied to deal with the complex task of exchanging the coffee. He asked me what’s wrong with the coffee, yet he already knew why he’s being queried. I told him the coffee was lukewarm then, and most likely cold by now, and I’d to have it exchanged. He grabbed it from the counter, slammed it in the waste bucket splattering it around, then directed an employee to give me a new coffee. Wow, now that is what I call service, outstanding, you guys need to understand that any purchase regardless of it being a single coffee or a whole meal, depends on us the consumer visiting your establishment, either online or to a physical location. Suffice to say that if the society is ravaged by the coronavirus, McDonald income will obviously be pretentiously restrained, essentially zero client equates to zero income. In my believe, I think the services I’ve received is objectionable, because I’ve inquired about the promotion. However, my assessment isn’t about how they’ve handled a basic McDonald promotion, but more partial to the quality of the food received, and the process by which it was delivered during this Covid-19 era. Many safety infringements, as depicted in the posted picture, employee without facemask, or gloves, handled all the trash bins in the parking lot, then went inside the restaurant without disinfecting his hands. Attitude is what brands a business it’s unique attributes, it influences productivity, modulate eminence, and marshal morale within any occupational structure. More prominently, it’s a factor that persuade clients to veer off to a competitor. Attitude is a skill needed for any job that requires client interaction, that being said, it’s clearly that employee at this McDonald needs to attend an attitude training session, because that’s not an exemplifying conduct anticipated from the McDonald brand. Being bold, and not being apologetic, is definitely presumptuous, yes, it’s...

Read moreAs a family, we used to love this place (branch); however, in the past 2 months, the service is worse than it's supposed to be. The drive-through service is often run by aggressive young employees with an attitude (maybe it is the stress!). Today, I noticed they added a new rule that "there are no refills" at the soda machine as per "public health regulation," according to the branch manager's information. I checked the Kingston website for local public health, and there are no recommendations that explicitly state that. If someone is taking the cup to refill it for me, I may understand this restriction. But I filled my own cup twice without touching any machines or other people's containers. The young lady was upset because I refilled my coke cup. I told her that If I filled my cup for the first time and refilled it again, I did not touch any other containers or spread any disease. I also mentioned that there is no need to invent new regulations and restrictions to save a couple of cents by using the Coronavirus situation. The young lady went and complained about the situation in front of us to other customers, and they laughed about it. Then, she went and told the branch manager who came out and stated the rule and refused to listen to our complaint about the waitress talking to other customers about us. We can understand as a family the whole stressful situation everyone is in by Covid-19. But again, big businesses like MacDonald's should not allow a few small branches to use the current situation to save a few cents. Interestingly, while the manager complains about refilling cups, his staff prepares and handles food in the kitchen without gloves. I am hoping for a better understanding and using common sense to apply sound...
