First off, this is not really a family sit down restaurant as you ordered your meal at the counter. It is better suited to take out, get togethers with friends, or date nights. We ordered 3 meals and a Bao platter. Each meal was given to us individually with the first two in 10-15min intervals. We each ate separately as a family. The last meal we were warned it would take a while to make. It ended up being a 30 min wait. A very awkward dinner together.

The portions were good, we wish there were condiments. No soya sauce or anything else to accompany the dishes.

My family enjoyed their food. I did not care much for my Udon N'Curry. It tasted very bland and the noodles gave off a bad aftertaste. I haven't had Ramen before but i have had Udon noodles. The meat did not taste fresh either. I was hoping for a bit more from Ramen.

I also hated that there wasn't any ice water though it offers complimentary tea or hot water if your thirsty.

The Bao platter was the best offering. We each enjoyed it. Particularly the Cluck off, Big Bird, and Shrimp Baos.

The last frustrating ordeal was the washroom. It was not clean. It also had no soap to wash your hands. All and all, it was a rough experience for a first timer trying this...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mingle, and I have to say - it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the colorful and inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff greeted me with a smile and were more than happy to help me navigate the menu and select the perfect bao for my tastes.

And let me tell you, the bao did not disappoint. Each bite was a perfect balance of bold flavors and textures, with just the right amount of sweetness, spice, and savoriness. I tried a few different flavors, and each one was better than the last.

But beyond the delicious food, what really made my visit to Mingle stand out was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I felt like a valued guest, not just another customer. The team at Mingle clearly puts a lot of care and attention into every aspect of the dining experience, and it shows.

Overall, I can't recommend Mingle highly enough. Whether you're a seasoned bao fan or new to the cuisine, you're sure to love the inventive flavors and welcoming atmosphere at this charming little bao store. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit - you...

Really sad to say the food has gone down in quality and the prices doubled. When they were located on Western road, the food was fresh and flavourful and one of my favorite places to order from.

We ordered from Skip tonight but was super disappointed. I really liked their Bao dough, it was very fluffy. Now it's more flat. The ramen tastes bland compared to before and the noodles are worse than instant ramen noodles. My partner ordered the Bulgogi bowl with ramen and got a different Bulgogi bowl with different toppings that were not listed in the description of the bowl she ordered and paid for. She has Autism and the Bulgogi bowl was one of her safe foods that she knew she could eat without worry. It's hard for her to eat when the food she ordered wasn't made the same way eventhough it was listed that way on the menu.

Don't think I'll be ordering this again. Might try going to the restaurant to see if it makes a difference in person, but I wouldn't choose to spend a lot of money on food that is really...

*Posting about 7 months after as I realized now my review somehow got posted for a different location* I ordered 4 baos and 2 dirty milk teas for delivery through skip the dishes for my lunch at work. The restaurant called to inform me they are out of milk teas and they can substitute with other drinks. I chose fruit teas. Skip the dishes must have called around the same time but I couldn't answer as my work got busy. Skip the Dishes cancelled drinks and I only found out after the meal was delivered. The restaurant left me a thoughtful note, which was a nice surprise. I very much enjoyed the chairman baos, the bun was soft and fluffy, steamed pork belly had jelly-like texture, cilantro was fresh and corn added sweetness. I will definitely order again! Update: Ordered a tonkatsu ramen bowl and 6 baos on July 15th. Ramen was decently tasty, though it didn't come with deep fried pork fillets I expected due to the name. The egg got squished during delivery, it was still good though.

Ordered from here for the first time using UberEats cuz I've heard good things from this place. Tried their chairman pork belly bao (black sesame special edition) and BBQ char siu buns. As you can see the buns were mostly doughy with skimpy amount of filling. It felt quite dry as I ate it cuz of the amount of dough vs filling so I couldn't finish most of the buns. The bao buns weren't so bad. It comes looking as pictured on the delivery app menu, seemingly very loaded. But it came with a single slice of pork belly with loads of their carrot slaw and corn (hidden under the fried topping) which is responsible for it looking so filled. Personally, I found that the carrot slaw was bit too sour and didn't compliment the whole bao sandwich, ended up just taking most of it out to finish the sandwiches. The black sesame baos were a nice idea, it's a refreshing visual from the rest of baos. Overall, good experience, likely will not buy again.

I decided to try the “bao” for the first time ever in my life because I heard great things about the unique little Taiwanese sandwich. I ordered the Korean Beef, Jerk Chicken and Japanese Fried Chicken along with a cup of Iced Matcha. Apart from it being pricey, I honestly liked it a lot! I would totally go back and try other food items, because it’s honestly fun food and not typical! It tasted so good and unique. I would recommend the Korean Beef Bao first as it was my favourite, then Jerk Chicken and last but definitely not at all the least would be the Japanese Chicken bao. It was awesome btw just if I had to rate then, that would be the order for me personally. Love it!
