Plaza Sushi Downtown isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience that redefines what great dining means. Nestled in the heart of the city, this gem is a must-visit for sushi lovers and foodies alike. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and modern, blending traditional Japanese decor with a stylish urban twist. But it’s not just about how it looks—it’s about the unforgettable food and service that make Plaza Sushi Downtown the best restaurant in the world.
The food at Plaza Sushi Downtown is simply on another level. Every dish feels like it’s made with care and passion. I ordered a variety of sushi rolls, and each bite was absolutely amazing. The flavors were fresh and balanced, the rice was perfectly seasoned, and the fish melted in my mouth. The presentation was stunning, too—almost too beautiful to eat! Whether it was spicy tuna, salmon nigiri, or their signature dragon roll, everything was soooo good that I couldn’t stop smiling.
What also sets Plaza Sushi Downtown apart is the quality of the ingredients. You can truly taste the difference. Everything is fresh, and you can tell the chefs use only the highest-quality fish and vegetables. Even the soy sauce and wasabi tasted better than usual! It’s clear the restaurant takes pride in offering an authentic, high-end sushi experience without cutting corners.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was just as impressive. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. They made me feel like a VIP, even though it was my first time there. My server explained the menu in detail, gave great recommendations, and checked in regularly without being annoying. It made the meal even more enjoyable and stress-free.
In conclusion, Plaza Sushi Downtown has everything you could want in a restaurant: delicious food, fresh ingredients, amazing service, and a great atmosphere. I’ve eaten at many places before, but nothing compares to how good my food was here. This wasn’t just a meal—it was one of the best dining experiences of my life. Without a doubt, Plaza Sushi Downtown is the best restaurant...

Issues:
Then during our meal, the server repeatedly interrupted our conversation to check in. I appreciate attentive service but it was too much. The young and inexperienced servers need to learn when to approach patrons and when to leave them alone.
Twice now I have ordered a meal at this restaurant that comes with miso soup and salad, only to not be served the soup and salad. The first time I only realized after I paid my bill that they never brought me the soup and salad. I shrugged it off because I otherwise like the place. The next time it happened and I had to eventually ask for it.
Last time I went to this restaurant I got the distinct feeling that the server was trying to get us to leave after about an hour. It was during their busy dinner time. My partner and I were taking our time, finishing up the last bits of our meals and having a drink. The server came up to us several times asking if we were finished, until I finally just said "sure, bring us the bill".
Overall, I do like this restaurant. The food is great, the servers aren't unfriendly, and I love the atmosphere. But there is a certain lack of professionalism, the servers are very, very young and inexperienced, and service quality varies. If they continue to shrink portion sizes I'll...
Read moreCasual restaurant with a huge menu that has something for everyone! They even have a gluten-free/vegetarian section to accommodate those with dietary restrictions. For the menu alone, I would come back as it has all the sushi classics and more. Food was reasonably priced and came out quickly.
Echoing other reviews, the service seriously needs to be improved. From my two experiences, the staff were all young adults that cared more about hanging out with each other than offering service. On my more recent visit, the server came quickly at first, but when we were ready to order, he was nowhere to be found. We waited a while until I made eye contact with a different server who was just standing there on her phone. I indicated we were ready to order and thought she would take our order or flag our server, but she just looked back down her phone and ignored me. I actually had to get up to find our server who was at the back hanging out with another person. He wasn't familiar with the menu (maybe he was new), but it made me why wonder why I was tipping. If anything, the kitchen deserved my tip for their work.
I frequent Ozen Sushi just down the street and though their staff are also of the same demographic, I've never had anything but excellent service. Plaza Sushi should train their staff better or reconsider their restaurant model. I would have no problem ordering and collecting food for myself as this isn't a high-end restaurant. Tipping a useless server just...
