I got chicken teriyaki chicken pad Thai and chicken peanut. I got the default noodle for each and I would say there was maybe five slices of carrot three pieces of broccoli a little bit of shredded random stuff a terrible amount of wilted greet onion a few bean sprouts and actually there was a decent amount of peanuts in the peanut chicken All the chicken was completely dry. There was very little of it. And you know what if they were running low on things and having an issue that’s one thing but it was a decent time of day nowhere near closing nowhere near the dinner rush right in between and the fact that my dishes just had no sauce was the dealbreaker for me. I like a lot of noodle and I don’t need a whole bunch of other stuff in it as long as it’s nice and saucy good amount of flavor, but there was no flavor. It wasn’t tossed properly the sauce and all settled to the bottom of little was there. And when I did get to the bottom, I actually enjoyed that a few bites had it being tossed properly and maybe twice the amount of vegetables and chicken I could see it being worthwhile but at this point just go to A dedicated place for that dish for a couple dollars more I could’ve gotten a Full Thai curry with 4 to 5 times the amount of food or I could’ve gotten a huge Cantonese chow mein or chicken lo mein at any of the number of great Chinese places and with competition like Wok Box there’s just no place for this. They’re just isn’t not at this quality if I wanna get an assortment of things that’s heavy on the noodle I’m just gonna go to Wok Box. They do a good job. They’re kind of light on the meat and veg, but they do a good job, tossing the noodles and making it nice and saucy and as for the actual sauce, the teriyaki noodle did not taste like teriyaki at all. It just tasted like bland spicy liquid. It wasn’t very good and the pad Thai really didn’t taste like anything like a pad Thai. The only thing I would even say was any good was the peanut dish? The sauce was actually quite good, but there was barely any of it. Do yourself a favour and get...
Read moreI was really looking forward to trying The noodle box. I made my first visit about 2 weeks ago and got the spicy peanut noodle box. It cost me just over $20 and I was very disappointed when I got home because the noodles were so mushy it tasted like paste with peanut butter flavor. I couldn't eat it. I decided to give them another try tonight and I explained to the person at the front what my first meal was like he didn't apologize but made me feel that I just ordered the wrong thing. There was no real apology or empathy for my bad experiencee. He suggested that Thai vegetable noodles would be better so I ordered it and I asked if he had anything else and he showed me the dessert menu so I ordered a egg roll dessert. He didn't ask me what kind of noodles I wanted so I ended up with vermicelli noodles. I asked for medium spice and OMG it was so hot I felt like my teeth were melting. It was really hard to enjoy. Super...
Read moreI don’t really do this stuff but this time I had to, the teriyaki noodle box with crispy chicken and chow mein noodles from noodle box was just too good, the chef (meet) was soo skilled I can’t even describe how happy I felt after eating the noodles, plus the front desk staff (dhwani) made me felt like home, I was really impressed by the way she described wach dish with its specific protein making it easier for me to order, now back to the food, the chow mein noodles with a touch of teriyaki sauce and fried chicken was fabulous plus they gave some crispy onions on side to garnish the dish with which was the cherry of top, I don’t know why I didn’t think of eating here first but well now I know where’s my go to meal after late night classes and hectic...
