Hands-down the BEST Popeyes experience I’ve ever had — and that’s saying something.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to give a massive shoutout to Harry at Popeyes for turning what could’ve been just a regular fast-food stop into an experience. The level of service, attention to detail, and genuine care he showed blew me away.
From the moment I stepped up to the counter, Harry was welcoming, sharp, and fully locked in — not just doing his job, but owning it. He made real recommendations, double-checked everything, and had this calm, confident energy that just made me feel like I was in good hands. He even made sure my order was fresh, piping hot, and packed perfectly (not one soggy fry or messed-up item in sight).
But it didn’t stop there. While I was waiting, I caught a glimpse of the kitchen and saw a guy in the back — I don’t know his name, but this man was cheffing it up like he was auditioning for a Food Network competition. I’m talking laser focus, perfectly timed drops, crisp technique. You could tell he took pride in every single piece of chicken that left that kitchen. If there was a Michelin star for fast food hustle, he’d have it.
When I bit into that first spicy chicken sandwich… listen, it was life-altering. Crispy, juicy, perfectly seasoned — like it had been blessed. The fries? Golden and crunchy with just the right kick. And don’t even get me started on the biscuit — buttery, flaky, warm like a Southern grandma made it herself.
Together, Harry and the mystery chef in the back delivered a 10/10 Popeyes moment that honestly put some dine-in restaurants to shame. You can tell this location runs tight because of people like them.
TL;DR: If you’re hitting up Popeyes and you see Harry, just know you’re in good hands. And whoever that chef in the back is — give that man a raise, a medal, a statue — something. This is not just fast food. This is fast...
Read moreBEWARE! They up-sale you without even telling you. Twice I came here, twice I was given and charged more than what I ordered.
The first time I ordered a two piece combo with fries and drink, and they charged me $15, It was a little more than I expected but I did not think much of it. When I came back to my office, I find that it was weird that they give me a big box of fries, I also found that odd but I thought maybe they were just nice. The realization came when I ordered the same thing from another Popeye location, it was only $10-$11 and the fries portion is normal. I knew something was off.
The second time, I ordered a chicken sandwich, the asian lady at the counter, put in a deluxe sandwich, and again, she put in a big portion of fries. Came out to $16 for the combo. When I called her out on it, she got mad and gave me a bad attitude. It was not a good experience, I reluctantly paid for the order and got out of there.
Now this is only a few dollars, but they add up, especially for people who are struggling and don't know better.
To the owner, I know you will read this. Whatever justification you give yourself, maybe I'm a bad customer, maybe you don't care that I won't return to your establishment. At least know this, I know you told your employee to up-sale people, that is very dirty, shame on you. Please, for your...
