Nova Deli — Restaurant in Ontario

First time there today .. Was so happy to finally have a good donair.We ordered the daily special 2 XL for 35.00 .. Ordered 1 with only cheese and the other with the works and also a small with only cheese .Now my understanding with only wanting cheese is that is what I would get . But no she did not add the tomatoes, onions, lettuce but felt the need to add the sauce . When I said only cheese . I was so glad I checked before we left .. So rather then argue about the toppings I sent my husband back in to buy 2 more XL with just cheese .. We didn't even take back in the ones that were wrong . Hubby told her the issue and she said she didn't hear say no sauce .. Well my understanding again of only cheese would be only cheese, Also we had ordered a pound of meat and she asked if we would like the 4 oz sauce with it and we said no we don't like the sauce . So you may even find it confusing as to why she put sauce on our donairs that we asked for only cheese. Also the new ones she made that we paid 35.00 for 2 XL we maybe the size of a medium they sure were not XL even the pitas were smaller . I opened both and compared and they were half the size .. So be aware you may not get what you pay for .. Also I do agree they are pricey and they seem to like two skim off people to safe supplies.You may want to ask for proof that you got the right size .. I am so tired of businesses that think they can do what ever they want .. This world is all greed and...

This place dose not get near enough of the attention it deserves. For amazing donairs, and dry pepperonis this place is where you should hit. Hidden in the strip mall on north front st once you walk in your eyes glaze upon the walls, and travel to the salty beaches of nova scotia. Ordering brings you back to a simpler time and more personable experience, having your order written out, the small chat with the cashier, seeing the window at the side they use to chat at each other about orders. It makes you miss the simple things and see how lost in tech we are. Once you've received your order your definitely going to need some extra napkins, but don't let the mess get you wrong. Sinking your teeth into one of Nova's donairs is a burst of flavor and meaty sweetness that leaves you licking the foil! From the meat being the perfect chewy-ness and spice, to simple ingredients that are fresh all wrapped in a soft pita like a warm hug.

I have supported and loved this business since it first came to the area and at one point i was thinking about becoming partners with Ron. I have sent and raved about this place for many years and was neighbors with the store a few years back. Ive noticed a huge price climb and way less portions. I have always asked for extra sauce to dump down my donair, some of the workers wont give me extra sauce because they saud they dont want people using it on other stuff, the sause is condensed milk and garlic poweder i can go make it if I want it but i wanted to support the company. Last neek a new guy was working, gave me an awesome portion and lots of extra sause on the side, it was so good i even called him aftee i was done to thank him. Seems as tho hes gone now. Whoever is working now wont givw me my extra sauce and now im pissed off and will never go back. I truly loved this place and its sad to see it go down hill so fast. Greed...
