Dropped in for lunch on the patio. Service by staff and our server was very professional and quick. Covid safe practices were clearly practiced and evident. Menâs washroom was clean and hand sanitizer readily available in different locations- this is good.
And now the disappointing part, I ordered the corned beef on rye and my business colleague ordered the chicken Caesar wrap.
I was very disappointed in the food. The quality, quantity and presentation was poor. The corned beef was not hot and not piled high to say the least. (As per the menu). The portion I received, ate and paid for was child size and the whole sandwich was equivalent to a 1/4 of most sandwiches I have had in other restaurants. The meat was not even warm.( I think it was from one of those bargain frozen plastic packages). The rye toasted bread was dry and crunchy. The fries were dry, cold and not fresh cut but frozen style. The wrap wasnât much better. Small portion and bland.
No alcohol and my bill was $38.00. I get the Covid price adjustment and the staffing challenges. But this experience is unacceptable.
So why a one star rating ? Because of the servers which actually deserve more. The food was extremely a BIG disappointment. The pictures on the web site are not true of the actual presentation. And that in itself is another business and marketing opportunity.
Based upon the presentation and content on their website, pictures and other reviews, I made a decision to eat at this establishment. Never again.
To the owners and staff, you have a great location and opportunity in Prescott to be a fantastic restaurant. People will come if you offer good service, good food and reasonable prices.
Why wouldnât you want to be the place where people would go out of their way to eat or drink ? Unfortunately, I did not experience this at your...

Not a shining moment for O'Heaphy's. 12 of us went last night for our Lady's night dinner. Waitress wasn't super engaging ( perhaps new?) ...that's fine. Ordered, and some of us were almost done before others go theirs. My meal was yummy, however one received cold gravy with warm fries, other was delivered a rock hard Pogo. Waitress only came to serve food and then at the end to clear dishes, in other words not engaging. At the end she gave us our bills saying "usually in a group we automatically add 15%. I didn't do that to each bill because it would have taken too long, so if everyone could add at least the 15% " Then the machine did not work in the back room we were in, so we, one at a time went inside to pay. As I was paying the waitress asked if I was one of the last to pay.. indicating she was not paying attention, just before the last stragglers were leaving the waitress came back to us stating that one of the ladies did not tip the 15% and that was a problem. (it was the lady that received the rock hard pogo and had to grab her own to go box because of lack of waitress) the waitress indicated that unless she collected the "missing" 15% it would come out of her pay. The fact that other women had actually tipped 18 or 20% was not good. So ...one lady grabbed some of her change and gave it to her. At the end of the night, what I want to say is, tipping is directly related to the SERVICE and FOOD QUALITY of an establishment. You as a waitress, or restaurant are not ENTITLED to that tip if you do not provide that service. ...
Read moreGorgeous little patio. Great music. Food and service is average at best. Regular style pub food⌠you know; deep fried for the most part. Iâm giving one star because our waitress and experience with her was bad. One of the people at our table ordered a pogo. Came late, rock hard, so she had to wait for something else to be brought out while the rest of us ate. Another at the table ordered a side of gravy. That was forgotten about too, then finally arrived at the end of the meal, and it was cold. Waitress never checked on us, so we did without on refills etc. Hereâs the kicker; as we finished up we were tokd that, because weâre a large group of ten, we need to remember to tip 15 per cent. Odd request, but ok. Iâd normally tip 20 per cent but was happy to give the 15 per cent requested. We were stopped by the waitress as we left and told âone of your friends didnât leave a tip even though I told you all that you have to.â It was probably because the service and food our friend received was so BAD! A few of the women told the waitress her tip could come out of the 20 per cent tips they left. The waitress said âNo. those tips were for your bills.â So a few of the girls dug into their pockets and came up with some money to cover the missing tip. I wasnât about to contribute as the whole thing was absurd. Such a sense of entitlement this waitress had, even though the service was less than ok. Anyways, long story short; none of us will ever go back there again. Too many âmuch betterâ experiences to be had at...
