Philthy Philly's- London — Restaurant in Ontario

Came here for the first time with a couple family members, and this place doesn't disappoint. The selection of CheeseSteaks, Poutines, Fried Chicken and Beef Burgers is great, just enough to give you a good amount to choose from but not so much that its overwhelming. The hours of operation definitely cater to the nightlife, and where its located totally makes sense... nothing like after a night out at the club, being able to stop in and grab a Poutine or a Cheeseteak at very reasonable prices just makes sense. They offer different daily specials, and the prices are probably some of the best when it comes to decent eats around London, especially late at night. I will say, that parking can be a challenge if you go during peak times of the day, but if you dont mind a little walk after finding a spot, this place is worth it. The gentleman we dealt with was super friendly, asked if it was our first time, and after making the food, brought it to us at the table... excellent service. Food great, prices great, service great, indoor atmosphere... well its not a luxury dine in restaurant, so keep that in mind... all in all, great experience and...

I ordered the small original poutine after my friends had two orders. They received their orders (sandwich and much bigger poutine with meat) before I received my small original poutine. They also started to make other orders after mine by the time I asked I still had to wait and the fries were cold and they loaded with hot gravy to try to cover the cold fries. I went to tell them and he said no they aren’t but they clearly didn’t just make new fries as it’s all open and you can see what they are making. So the fries sat while my friends ate theirs, they couldn’t have made mine at the Same time (a much smaller simpler order) and then they couldn’t even remake me fries to replace mine. It was practically soup with the gravy. And the fries were not good. I saw a few pple get poutines after me and it looked way better, so the costumer service was off. I dunno why, as I was in line like everyone else. It could be I’m a coloured women but who knows. Everyone else got a receipt with numbers they didn’t even bother to wait to give me money after I paid and tipped. Very disappointing. I didn’t eat them and neither would my friend after they ate...

Update! So its been a while since my last visit. Today i went in around 1:15 pm. There was one person working, i asked for a regular philly cheese steak with cheeze whiz. I was asked if i wanted any sauces, i replied no. Now ive been to Philadelphia, New York, Pittsburg a few places with great sandwiches. Ive watched them being cooked. Today ive never seen anything like it. The girl puts the steak and onions and peppers on the grill, shes also been talking on her phone since i walked in. For the first 5 minutes she does nothing but add water to the flat top basically boiling my food. About 6 minutes in she starts stirring it like its a soup. She then chops it for 30 seconds and throws it all on the bun. She then adds bbq sauce after i said no sauce. Theres no sauces on philly cheesesteaks!! Got home bread was soggy and soaked from all the water!! Worst sandwich ive ever had!! Never returning! * not so*Great cheese steaks. Took forever though as it seemed they were training a new employee and she was clueless and had to be corrected 5 or 6 times on how to make something. Hopefully...
