15 person Brunch went well. Small restaurant but comfortably fit all of us. It's worth noting that this place is a paleo eater's dream as they really pile on the bacon! The chefs change the brunch menu almost weekly and the staff was very friendly. Endless cups of coffee here are great! They gave me honey as I don't like to use sugar. Before our mains arrived, there was a surprise in store. We didn't know, but included with brunch was a bounty of freshly baked warm pasteries. Best of all they catered to the celiacs and provided a salad and little gluten free coconut caramel cakes. The plethora of pateries were picked clean by our party post haste, you'd think we were a caravan of famished pilgrims if you saw our table when the basket hit the wood - we were like a pack of piranhas pouncing on a plump flank of pork shank dropped in the pool. I barely had time to take a picture. The scene quickly turned into a black market prison marketplace - people were buying blueberry muffins from each other with packs of cigarettes and trading custard donuts and scones for mackerel cans. The fluffy dish of butter was put up for auction and purchased by one of the children for a year's allowance. Then the meals arrived. I ordered the Sushi salmon Steak as itl looked like the best the low carb option. It was delicious. Great healthy option. Wife needed gluten free, she's celiac, they were able to modify her Steak & Eggs meal. That was also amazing. Really healthy with veggies and protein. The only negative thing we had to say about this place was the toast. All the kids didn't eat their toast because it was more like a sweeter cornbread than regular sliced bread. Some of the kids didn't eat their breakfast because they are used to dipping the eggs in the toast, and when the toast was not like it cascaded into 4 breakfasts going mostly uneaten.

I went their for my birthday. The ambience and hospitality was really nice. This little restaurant has that nice warm cozy feeling to it where you can just sit back, relax and enjoy. For the appetizers we ordered Salmon wrapped scallops and Spanish Shrimps and they were mmhhmmmm DELICIOUS!! Drinks were good too. For Entree my husband ordered Corned Beef and Cabbage and I went for Pan Seared Trout! My husband just loved the beef entree, my entree was fine too. The sautéed mushrooms on top were yummy, baby potatoes were finely done but the Trout was way too salty. 1/4th of the trout was bland and the rest as if the salt got dumped accidentally. But I then had to give up on my trout and I just could not eat it even I tried washing it down with my drink. Anyways other than that we had an amazing time. Another suggestion would be maybe add a little complimentary spark if it’s a special occasion. I am not sure maybe they didn’t see the occasion-birthday when I booked but just cuz I loved this restaurant I’d suggest adding this as a feature for other customers.

I went to the Church Key at the end of October before a concert at Bud Gardens. It was a little busy because of the concert and a show at the Grand Theater but we didn't have to wait for a table and the service was still on point. We told the waiter about our time restraints because of the concert and he pointed out a few menu items that we may wish to avoid because of our time restraints. I was extremely surprised by the reasonable beer prices for an upscale Richmond St eatery. 10 oz drafts starting at $3.75, what??? I ordered the beer steamed mussels for an appetizer and the Church Key Burger with Caesar salad for a main. My dinner companion ordered the Ale and Onion soup and the Fish and Chips. The mussels were great and the burger was amazing. The stillton cheese really gave the burger a punch. My dinner companion said the soup was one of the best soups she had ever had and the fish and chips rivaled here local spot. They also bring out a loaf of bread to the table which was one of the best breads I have had at a restaurant.

We were desperate to eat after a long trip across the border during late night hours. Happily they were open but the overall experience was lackluster. The service was the highlight, drinks were good and food was, um, edible? I had the beer and onion soup which was bitter and just weird. Don't recommend it. Thankfully I also had the caesar salad. It was pretty good and apparently they make their own dressing. Yum. My husband had the fish burger which he seemed to like. The food was generally overpriced so maybe go for drinks only? Be aware that they may close earlier than you think so you may want to call before a late night visit.

Stopped in for lunch with a friend. Both had the rueben. Was tasty enough, although not your typical rueben — came on a pretzel bun, meat was from a roast (delicious, but I am accustomed to thinly sliced corned beef), usually there is melty Swiss cheese, and it didn’t seem very cheesy. There was a creamy Russian dressing, which I enjoyed more than I expects. I did feel the meat to bun ratio was a bit off, even though the meat and the bun were both very tasty. The fries were delicious — obviously fresh cut in house, and the Caesar salad, well was your typical Caesar salad. Good service — overall pleasant experience.

One of my absolute favourites on the Richmond Row. This is a must stop in on any Pub Crawl as they serve London Pride on Tap in the traditional, manual pump. In my personal experience, this is a revitalizing beer in the middle of a pub crawl. It seems to give you the second wind you need in a long campaighn. As I was just visiting for lunch and not participating in a Pyrrhic drinking battle, I took the opportunity to taste the Curry and Chips. It did not disappoint and neither did the service. Also, this is a rocking spot for Brunch on Sunday. As per, don't forget to tip your waitstaff. Cheers!
