Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Ontario

Food was up to expected quality but I wouldn’t expect anything less from a new location of a large chain restaurant with stringent cook times and prep methods. The food quality was good but the wait times were not. I waited almost a half hour the first time for a simple order of chicken nuggets. Today I went back and sat in the drive thru for 10 minutes before the truck ahead of me turned off their engine and I heard the young lady tell him it would be a few I’m more minutes. After a couple more minutes I decided I could’ve had a pizza already cooked next door in the time I waited to even have my order taken and backed out of the drive thru, thankfully with no one behind me. This was at noon on a Friday, when there was almost absolutely no one else at this location. Would there not be an anticipated lunch rush? What would’ve happened if 5-10 people showed up for lunch? If I hear the wait times change, I will be back but until then I will avoid...

No one ever go here please. This is by far the worst operating and customer service ever given. If you order something on the phone in advance, and they tell you to wait 20 minutes for it to be ready, it turns out that they actually give away the food to other people during that time. In turn, when I arrived, they said that I had to wait another 20 minutes. If that was not bad enough, it actually took 50 more minutes. I waited 90 minutes in total for a 3 piece box. They have constantly done this to me 4 times now. They intentionally will go slower, even with the workers (manager included) there laughing at the fact that I had to wait. Obviously, the food there was also very greasy, and they forgot the fries and biscuit after charging me for a combo? (by the way, they have also forgotten these things literally every time I go there). Terrible people and terrible...

By far the better of the two Belleville Popeye's locations, they're fantastic about honoring offers from the app even when the app has issues loading/processing orders.

The food is prepared promptly and they have no issues asking you to pull around to the front when your food is going to take a minute to prepare. Some might take this as a negative but I believe it's entirely the opposite; pulling around out front not only feels more personal in having your food delivered to your car but it also means that you won't need to wait in line in the drive-through lane to get your order started.

Fantastic staff are always personable, it's just a shame that they're out on the southeast edge of town because they deserve to be the higher-traffic franchise; the north-end location near the mall just doesn't seem to value their customers...
