Perfect noodles to warm you up. Becoming one of my favourite Chinese restaurant in London. Very authentic street food selection such as 肉夹馍 (Chinese burger) and 羊肉串 (lamb skewers). It was so good I forgot to take pictures 😅
The knife cut noodles were perfectly chewy, super qq. Broth soothes you from the cold weather. Ordered the lamp knife cut noodles and the braised beef one. The lamb one was cut thicker to accommodate the gamier taste. The beef one were cut thinner to mimic regular braised beef noodles. Both great choices depending on your preference. Good portions for the price.
Also ordered a number of side dishes, the highlight was the chicken feet skin salad. The brine and dressing was super refreshing and addicting. Thought one menu item was shaobing but it was youbing...
Read moreDon't let the exterior scare you off, the inside is clean and spacious. Service is polite and insanely fast. Super delicious food for great value. Giant, massive bowls of noodles full with flavour. The best pork hamburger in the city absolutely bursting with hot fresh meat, seriously such a star. The cold dishes are my favourite, the spicy beef dish is phenomenal and a must-try. I love the jellyfish salad too, if you've never had jellyfish before I definitely recommend it. Been here twice in 3 days right after discovering it just to try more cold dishes and pig out on the pork hamburgers.
I didn't personally find the soup noodles too salty. The soup isn't meant to be drank as it is just there to give as much flavour to the noodles as possible, so it is saltier than say, a pho or...
Read moreWas very excited to see an authentic Chinese restaurant in London. I ordered takeout 30 mins prior to closing time and it was ready in 10 mins. Had the cucumber with garlic sauce and it was delicious. Ordered the spicy beef sliced noodle which comes as a soup with handmade rice noodle, bok choy and cilantro. Would be nice if there was a bit more bok choy in the soup. The soup itself was extremely salty to the point where my lips were drying out while eating it. It was basically inedible. It is evident that all of the flavours are there but it’s a shame that they haven’t learned this from their previous reviews, especially since this is the one of the very few authentic Chinese restaurants in the city. The chef should be tasting the food as they are cooking to...
