I visit Starbucks often. I'm not the one you see there everyday, I usually stop in 3 to 4 times a week. I have only visited this particular Starbucks maybe a handful of times because I live on the other side of town.
I was with my husband and we had just finished grocery shopping on the east side, we thought let's stop for a drink on the way home. The drive thru was quite backed up so he decided to park and I'd run in.
The store was full of patrons sitting, there was only one customer in front of me in line. I ordered two drinks (one hot drink and one cold drink, no food. For reference later) The girl taking my order was pleasant.
I stood at the end of the counter where customers collect their orders. The line inside formed quite quickly. One of the situations where you think to yourself "good thing I got here when I did" The manager made small talk with me while she packed an Skip order.
I watch customer after customer collect their orders. Hot drinks, cold drinks and food. All these orders placed after mine. 15 minutes go by and the manager makes small talk with me again about how the sun was bright coming through the window. She not once asked what my order was. Maybe she needs more training or maybe her position needs to be rethought. I worked in food/service myself so I know at times things get hectic. But as a manger should she not have asked what my order was. She made small talk with me two separate times with approx 10 minutes in between. I myself was a manager at a Boston Pizza for 5 years I know customer service is important. Bad reviews spread like wild fire.
Finally one of the 8 girls working behind the counter asked what I was waiting for (18 minutes had passed, yes exactly 18 minutes, at this point I was checking my phone every 2 minutes). I started to tell her what I ordered, starting with the hot drink, when she rudely cut me off and said oh hot drinks take longer. They finally started making my drinks.
I waited a total of 23 minutes for one hot drink and one cold drink. 23 minutes. I could have gone to a sit down restaurant and order a meal and been served within 23 minutes.
The drinks were horrbile. I order the same two drinks almost everytime I visit. Mine tasted like dirty dish water. And my husband's was sub par.
I called the location on the way home and the manager didn't seem to care much. I will never visit this location again. I have let everyone know about my experience. I've shared it on all my social media platforms and will continue to do so.

The supervisor Adam took my order and I ordered the drink and I asked to be made with coconut milk and he rudely answered me and said itās called Summer Skies if itās made with coconut milk. I didnāt know itās called summer skies because this was my first time trying it. Then I looked over the counter and the drink was full of ice, barely any drink so I asked if she can do light ice the girl gave me the nastiest side eye and another girl interfered and said well next time just ask for it when you are ordering, she was saying with an attitude. Then when I received my drink there was barely any ice. I was really disappointed with the service I received. Mind you this is the second time I have a bad experience with Adam. Couple months ago I went to Starbucks and I asked to reload my Starbucks card with $50 the girl was new and she didnāt know how to do it and I ended up losing $50 and he trying to blame my bank when I called my bank. They said Starbucks took the money and they canāt do anything about it so I ended up losing $50 and he was not cooperating and he wasnāt a very good supervisor. Coming to the drink ā Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino. By the way, this is my regular drink, so I know exactly how it tastes. But here, when I ordered it, all I could taste was coffee. Iād rather buy a plain cold coffee instead of this.
It was filled with so much crushed ice that I literally couldnāt even sip my drink ā all I could find was ice. Iāll be uploading pictures ā itās not even blended properly. All the chocolate or java chips literally settled down like a mold. They take 3ā5 minutes to serve a car, but for what? No use at all.
Also, there are wasps all around the drive-thru window. You canāt even take your order properly because of that. Poor maintenance overall.
I donāt know if theyāre really like this or just being rude, but Iām never coming back to this Starbucks again. This is the fourth bad experience Iāve had here. The first two times I ignored it thinking it was a mistake, but not anymore.
