Went there on 21 Apr 23, takeout only. We ordered a rice paper roll with shrimp, Pad Thai with Chicken (#15) and the Cambodian curry (#7). Appetizer was okay, fresh, mostly lettuce but that makes it crispy. The fish sauce seemed somewhat diluted with chopped peanuts added. I personally like salad rolls with a 50/50 mix of half hoisin sauce/half peanut butter as a dip. The main courses were mostly carbs, not many vegetables and even less protein. The curry was flavourful, but had hardly anything other than sauce and rice. Pad Thai was lack luster, not the worst but definitely not the best I've had, and mostly noodles (texture and flavour were not great). Pros: portions were big, food was hot, curry flavour and service were good. Cons: not much substance to the dishes. I wouldn't go there again.

The food was excellent I got a pork and shrimp thing with spring rolls it cost over 15 buck no drink just the meal. I finished it and made myself a sandwich at home and was still hungry they have me a big cup of fish sauce and no hoisen sauce But a little thing of hot sauce. Its too bad I am Feeling like it was very small for the price and there were only 3 shrimp 7 slices of pork and one spring roll. Now had the cost been more reasonable I would likely feel better as I say the food was delicious. God Bless

Called in to place an order for a chicken mee cha, because it’s a cambodian dish and I wanted to try something new. The portion was great, but flavour wise it’s nothing to really write home about. A little too sweet and too saucy for my liking. I asked for extra spicy and they delivered it. I probably won’t order this dish again. BUT i’m gonna give this place another shot and order something thai instead and see how it turns out. Will update my review when that happens!

This is a hidden jewel of Kingston restaurants. It's a Cambodian-Thai lunch place primarily. The decor is diner-style, but don't let that fool you.

The food is always delicious and I've been going here for years. Food arrives to the table hot, and it's not the nuked stuff you get in other places, but this is actually properly prepared food. The chef is the owner. Fresh tasting veggies, prepared in interesting yet basic sauces.

They have some spicy food, but they have very interesting mild dishes too if you prefer. You can ask to make something extra spicy or extra mild as well and they are very accommodating. They do a really good job!

I recommend the Pad Thai, Citrus Chicken, and Tomato Beef as my top choices and none of these are super spicy on their own but I add lots of table-side chili purée because I love it.

PRO TIP: A lot of folks don't realize you can ask for rice noodles instead of rice if you prefer.

You can get lunch for 2 for around $35...

This is one of my favourite Thai / Cambodian restaurants in Kingston. The food is always fresh and flavourful. They have good portion sizes however meat portions in the dishes tend to be small. I recommend ordering extra meat in your main course. Staff are very friendly and overall quality is really good. However, there’s been 2 occasions where I’ve shown up and there was a closed sign on the restaurant during their scheduled open business hours. There were no updates to their hours on google or online. So, now I’ve been calling my order in for pickup instead of eating in...
