Subway — Restaurant in Ontario

so me and my friends were at this subway on october 15th, 2023, and there was only 2 people who were working during the lunch rush, which is just a horrible business strategy, clearly the immigrants who run this place do not have the intelligence "to call people in when they need help", now i speak from experience from calling people cause i used to work in the restaurant industry so i do know what it is like to be called in for when the restaurant you work at needs help and you have to go in and help out when there is a rush, so i do not see why the dumb dumb immigrants who run this place can not just call people when there is a rush.

when i was there at subway, there was some guy clearly been trained, if this location is training, why would they train someone during a rush, especially when there was only 2 people on staff, it just tells me on how dumb the immigrants are who run this place.

My husband was in tonight at 8:15 pm and ordered 2 ft long cold cut combo subs with double meat on Italian herb and cheese buns. When he went to pay he gave the girl working on the till (she was blond with a pierced eyebrow) his coupon (which was buy 1 sub and a drink get the 2nd sub for .99) the bill was $20.53. My husband said are u sure i have a coupon it just seems high and she said i know what im doing my husband replied but i have a coupon. She said loudly and walked away and said i can't deal with him. The other lady working came over and very polity explained that a coupon couldnt be used for extra meat, my husband said nicely thats all the other girl had to say to me.

Normally, I have a good experience here. There's one sandwich artist that does wonders with a sandwich. Unfortunately, I'm giving them 3 stars because they were supposed to be open till 10pm tonight (May 20th, 2024) but, when my husband and I pulled up at 9:36pm, the doors were locked and he was finishing closing. Another man even tried to get a sub while we were sitting there baffled and confused. There aren't a lot of options in Cayuga so when your hours say you're open till 10pm, then your doors should be open and you should be taking orders until...
