Tahini's — Restaurant in Ontario

Very bad customer service. The staff there really need some training. Time : 6pm, June 4, 2022..

I went to buy a Chicken Shawarma and there was two staffs. The music inside the store was very loud and so while taking order, the staff was not at all able to hear what the customer was saying. What is the need of this much loud music??

Cx actually need a place to eat and talk with thier family, if the loud music dont let them to do so, why should someone come inside.. (No one was there in the shop other than me at the time I entered, now I got the reason why🤨)

While the staff was taking my Order, her phone started ringing and she took the call. I knew the language she was talking in her phone and defenetely it was not a serious or professional call.. She was laughing and talking in her phone and asked me to wait until her call is over.

Does Tahinis really allow the staff to talk with their friends while taking an order?? If yes, please let the staff to use mobile only after they took the order, or when they are free or after the shift, until otherwise it is not a professional or an urgent call.

I explained the staff what all sauces I needed in the Shawarma and she was putting some sauces as her wish. I asked for hot sauce also in the order and defenetely there was no hot sauce in the Shawarma that I got, as she was not even looking on my order to check what sauses I ordered.

Mixed reviews on this location. Tahinis has very delicious foods. Everything is delicious, garlic sauce is great, tahini sauce is obviously great! The problem arises with the staff, I've been there times now and have had the same problem each time. There is one staff member there who obviously cares very much about the job and he goes above and beyond to ensure orders are correct, pricing is correct, customers get all the food they ordered and provides guidance on what to order. The other staff member does not provide service anywhere close to this. Unfortunately, it seems the good worker reports to the other one. All three times I visited, we had problems. All three times for we ordered, food was not included with our order. One time they tried charging us more than we should have paid. Two times the senior employee blamed the junior employee for the mistake infront of me and infront of the other employee! What! that is not how a supervisor should explain to a customer the reason behind a mistake... When they don't add something to your order that you paid for. They then ask for you to drive back to the store to get it (instead of offering something else). This happened through both a doordash order and when I picked up food myself. Anyways I would say if there is a way you can get their food without interacting with one of the staff...

I have made the long drive from the National Capital Region to give it a try. I ordered the Habibi bowl, here’s a breakdown of the components:

Rice: 5/5 ⭐️ - incredibly soft and tender, each grain was cooked and spiced to perfection! A beautiful turmeric / cumin taste to it. Very well done.

Chicken: 4/5 ⭐️ - good shawarma flavoured chicken, not too fatty, very moist.

Tzatziki Sauce: 5/5 ⭐️ - very creamy and fresh! Lemony!

Garlic Sauce: 4/5 ⭐️ - was supposed to be spicy garlic, tasted normal.

Hot sauce: 2/5 ⭐️ - I asked for hot, I could not taste ANY scollvilles in that sauce

Customer service was nice and the entire bowl took 2 minutes to prepare. It also comes with deep fried pita chips to add some crunch!

Would recommend getting it but way more spicy than “spicy”

given the amount of chicken, it is over priced relative to some of its competitors, there’s certainly enough chicken to compliment the rice, but it is not a generous quantity by any means and for $12.99, I expect more chicken than the amount you would find in a standard sandwich.
