This company should get a ZERO STAR for this review but google makes me put a 1 star

We came to this place for lunch, After the food was made my wife added nuts and went to sit down with her food, they were still making my order of Pad Thai. When my food finished I added some nuts and a cockroach fell out from the container. I we asked for our money back, The guy told us that he sees cockroaches here everyday they are everywhere. He just acted like it was a normal thing for him.

We contacted Thai Express head office and they said they were sorry and they would go to the store the next day and give us a call back. Since then that day the head office never called us back, We tried to follow up a week later and they never called back when we left a message.

Unfortunately I didn't get the picture of the cockroach on my food, I wish I thought of that at the time but I was just shocked this actually happened and didn't...

So they obviously have new owners because the food actually had flavour before. I got the “Thai fried rice” which was bland and flavourless as hell compared to the last time i got it pre pandemic. They use canned pineapple now which is gross. Tastes nothing like a fresh pineapple. The worst mistake a restaurant can make is using canned fruits or veggies. The chicken is now in tiny pieces instead of big chunks. The ingredients that aren’t rice are super scarce.m, so its nice to get a bowl of rice for $14 when it cost them about $2 to throw all those things together. Service sucks now too, no communication skills they just stare at you. Also it’s a very progressive decision they made to switch from the cardboard takeout boxes to generic plastic bowls. 👏🏻 * sarcasm * now switch back so i can pretend the food tastes better. Well, the food is at best... moderate. However, it is expensive so at least you can say that you over-paid for a mediocre meal.

The hot curry is anything but hot. It's close to a medium heat without any kick. The Tom Yum soup is essentially a bowl of tasteless noodles.

The combos are non-existant. I asked for a plate of curry and a small side of soup... and it was over $17. Perhaps they felt it was two meals I was being sold. Either way, it was a total waste.

I had really hoped that this would have been a good meal as things looked fresh, but ultimately disappointed. Had it been a $10 meal I would not be as critical, but for seventeen dollars I could have had a better...
