This is the only Tim Hortons I've ever felt strongly enough about to leave a review for. Admittedly, it is kind of a weird atmosphere in this Tim Hortons - but by weird I don't mean bad, just unexpected. It's odd that this Tim Hortons always seems to alternate between having cash and not having cash. The "cash has been removed from the premises" signs go up and down at random, which can be inconvenient. I understand that it might be hard to obtain cash right now though considering the overwhelming popularity of card payments. I've seen mixed reviews about the quality of service here, and I agree that sometimes the workers are very short with customers, but considering the relatively poor quality of Tim Hortons as a brand, I have a feeling that management is not effectively managing that behaviour and perhaps is even driving the frustration of the workers. I think customers need to remember that the majority of those workers are pubescent teenagers who are forced to work a part time, extremely fast paced, low paying job, serving customers who are often incredibly rude and far too demanding considering that they're at a poorly managed chain restaurant that serves subpar food and drink. While it does seem that certain workers have been exceptionally rude, which is not acceptable, I respect that many of the workers do not go out of their way to be fake polite - I respect quality work over fake niceties. However, there are two workers at this location who are two of the best Tim Horton's employees I've ever experienced. I don't have their names, but one is a young boy with red hair who is always smiling and says "I appreciate you" when you thank him. There is also a woman who has worked there for a very long time (I think she may have also worked at the one down the road) and she is always moving so quickly and efficiently. She doesn't say much but I respect her hard work. Overall kind of a strange atmosphere at this location but it's pretty easy to cut them some slack considering the age of the workers and the demand at that location. I honestly believe that most problems that occur at Tim Hortons locations are caused either directly or indirectly by the way the brand is...
Read moreI'm not a happy Customer I have been in the customer service Feild for over 21 years and this location puts the whole Customer Satisfaction to shame the drive thru staff and the acting store manger around 4 pm on Dec 4 was the worst and when I called the Southdale and White Oaks location to speak to the store manager the "acting" manager wasn't friendly and didn't want to listen to my complaint or even deal with it I believe they need a training class I went through the drive thru placed my order and was rushed away from the speaker without a total and or clarification of my order a mistake I will NEVER do again, when I got upto the window I paid for said order not knowing I was unable to receive part of it I order a lg coffee, begal and a polar bear doughnut, I recieved two out of the three and when I asked about the doughnut they said we didn't have any in stock so at that time I still assumed I had paid for all three items again no clarification on price so I said I'll take a muffin in substitute and they said that will be and gave me another price I stated I asked for the doughnut at the speaker there response we didn't charge you for it cause we didn't have any this is not the first time this has happened at this location so instead of telling me before I paid that they had none in-stock to give me the option of saying don't worry about it I'll just stick with the bagel and coffee they decided to speak for me and preceded to make me feel like I'm the idiot and when I called to speak to the Store Manager the acting manager was blowing me off like my complaint didn't matter, I asked when the store manager will be available and she said tomorrow and then just hung up I've had better service from the Wharncliffe and Southdale location then I did at this one I didn't not feel like a valued Tim Hortons Customer at this location and if they blew me off and changed my order for me my question is how many others have they done this too and losing money for the company, I will be making it public that this location doesn't train their staff and doesn't treat Customers with respect or like they value my service like Tim...
Read moreThis Tim Hortons is probably one of the poorest managed ones I have been Too. They don’t know how to man their drive-through properly. They are always out of most of their food products I tried going to get breakfast three times in the last two weeks and all three times I had to leave because they didn’t have eggs or bacon. And when I did a mobile order, I got there and they told me that they didn’t have the items and they were unable to give me a refund because it was a mobile order.
So update on this location … as you can see they are still 1 star. But when I went to the drive thru today as it was the location that was the most convenient for me as I was running around grabbing some stuff. When I was waiting in the drive thru no one came on the speaker and after saying hello a few times after waiting 4 minutes another car pulled up to the 2nd order screen and was served right away after that car pulled away again I said hello with to reply so I decided it was easier to order at the window. When I got to the window the teenage boy said I needed to wait to place an order at speaker. When I explained to him that I was waiting and no one was taking my order but the other cars got there order taken he got upset and told me I still just needed to wait until they see me.
