I tried one of their new "comfort" bowls as they call them.
Timmies, please for the love of God stay in your own lane. You are a coffee and donut shop. Stop adding new menu items to try and stay relevant. Your food, aside from the donuts, is horrid. The pizza you did a few months back? A literal slap in the face to the name of pizza.
Stop trying to be trendy. The foods you have been coming out with for the past couple years have been some of the worst foods I've ever had the dishonour of eating.
And it's even funnier because you lost the contract for the coffee supplier you had, and now your coffee tastes like toilet bowl water too. Overall the brand name of Tim Hortons is literal garbage at this point. The donuts aren't baked fresh in store (I know for a fact they come out of a cardboard box in the freezer out back as I formerly worked at this particular location).
Also, one time on shift I watched an employee drop a huge stack of bacon slices on the floor, pick them up, pick off a few pieces of dust/dirt/etc, then cook it to serve to people. When I brought my concern over the dirtiness of the floors, my manager informed me that "the bacon was too expensive to just throw out". Needless to say I quit a few days later after sitting with her comment in my head. I'm sorry, but I don't give a fly rat's left nut if the bacon was "expensive". It dropped on the floor, where people have walked on with shoes many times. You don't know what those shoes have walked on/in. Absolute disregard of customer health, eyes set only on profits.

Read moreI have been a regular customer to this Timmy's for almost 10 years. My coffee is made right maybe 2 in 10 times. Up until about 2 years ago the customer service was fantastic. Rose always greeted me with a smile. Now, the staff doesn't listen when you're giving your order, is argumentative about what you ordered, I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, and when I received it, there was no more then 4 pieces of chicken, no sauce or cheese (lie I had ordered), so I had to go into the store to have them fix it. When I went in, I was greeted by a rude employee that told me there was only a few pieces of chicken because they ran out,and that it "wasn't a big deal,but we don't have any croissants left and you'll have to wait." I was heading out on a 10 hour drive with my 3 children in the car.
I normally would not be so upset, but we have been regular customers to this store for almost 10 years, buying at least 3 large coffee a day. My family has spent 10s of thousands of dollars at this specific location, and we are treated like garbage by most of the staff. Not to mention, your debit machine stops working on a regular basis, in turn, I wait in a huge lineup to be told at the window that I can't even have my coffee because I don't have cash, even tho I've just wasted 20 mins waiting in line.
This Tim Hortons needs to pull up their socks and teach their employees what customer service is.

Ive worked in customer service before and I understand that you can be busy doing things behind the counter. That does not excuse the fact that not one person made eye contact and told me that they would be with me in a moment. I was ignored and forgotten. A woman finally walked up to the register and asked if anyone had helped me. I said no and she took my order. Additionally, we asked to get a cloth to wipe the table as it was dirty. They took their time to get a cloth and while they eventually came and wiped the table down for us (though I didn't mind doing it myself to save them time) they did not dry the table off afterwards and left the table wet for us to sit at. We ended up drying the table with napkins.. the service here was disgusting. You need to do better. Retrain your staff. This was laziness and rude. Plain and simple.
