My wife went to this Timmies and she was ignored by all the staff inside the store. My wife is South American so she looks like a native person. Is this the way they treat natives? It makes my blood boil! She was so disheartened by the experience and didn't have the strength to bring it up with the management. I think they have forgotten what the service industry is: being of service to the local community. She called for help and they kept ignoring her. She finally got the attention of one employee who just told her they don't serve people from that particular window. All this while the staff was socializing with other customers who were not ordering, while ignoring my wife who was trying to order a coffee. My wife told me everyone there was white except her, and wonders if this is the reason for just ignoring her! What a shameful conduct.
Later edit: I see there is a response from the owner, the exact same one I have seen in other low rating reviews. For interest I went to the site recommended which asked me for a language/location and then brought me to the Tim Hortons home page. I tried a second time and it brought me to a page asking if I needed help with "roll up to win", "account and app access", "Delivery" and such. This looks like a canned response that does not address the issue in the least. If the "owner" was truly concerned he/she would say at least something that vaguely mentions the problem at hand. As it stands my wife just feels more comfortable bringing her own coffee in the car rather than being humiliated by this kind...
Read moreWas in this store yesterday at approximately 230pm with my spouse. We waited 20 minutes for an employee to come take our order. The employee who took our order was just in the midst of cleaning garbage off the floor and ting a garbage bag. Which is fine it’s slow clean he takes our order then proceeds to then start making our beveragesz he did NOT wash his hands. I stopped him and asked him to wash his hands as I watched him with the garbage. He then agrees and goes to the sink in which we can see from cash stands there for a minute then comes back over, he did not turn on the water or use soap. A lady then comes over to begin our food on a counter that was not clean she then picks up the rag in which the other guy put down after using it on the FLOOR to then clean counter and make our food. The moment we witnessed this we requested a refund for everything. The employees gave us hassle about it. This store is not clean unsanitary and clearly the employees do not understand basic health and safety laws especially when it comes to food handling. I hope the health inspector shows up to do inspections because nothing about this facility should pass. I will never attend this location again. And have told everyone I know not to attend it either. The owner needs to do some serious reassessment of their staff and training in regards to health and safety before someone because...
Read moreYou guys have got to do something about this now decades old problem this location has with people jumping the drive-thru line up by making that stupid right hand u-turn. Either square off the curb so people dent up their car rims, or use one of the 5 cameras on the back of your store to spot the lazy jerks who make the u-turn, and refuse to serve them.
In the 10 minutes sitting in the proper line up this morning 4 cars butted in line up. I guess my time is less important then others in Caledonia.
Fix your impossibly dumb parking lot layout, or stop taking their orders, and people will stop jumping the line. It's only fair for everyone who uses this Hortons.
And to the people who habitually do the right hand u turn, how is it easier to navigate a tight right hand u turn, over traveling 20 yards further and making a wide left hand u turn? And don't play innocent stupidity, we all know you're doing it on purpose, because you're lazy and don't want to wait like...
