So I don't like leaving poor reviews but I've had a number of problems with this location lately. Today my husband and I went through the drive through to get the new scrambled egg menu items as we really really like them! They didn't have any eggs on, no big deal, we can wait a bit but it ended up being a full 10 minutes. Luckily we checked the food before leaving because they got my sandwich wrong. I am a vegetarian and my wrap had a sausage in it. So I sent my husband back in to fix it which they did with mostly no issue. We didn't check the food before leaving this time which was our mistake because it turns out that they messed up my sandwich again! Instead of the scrambled eggs I ordered, there was an egg puck cut in half in the wrap! And not only that, we also discovered an egg puck at the bottom of my husband's scrambled egg box under just a few scrambled egg bits, just enough to hide it! Of course by this point it was too late to go back and get any of it fixed because the scrambled eggs stop getting served at 11am.
While my husband was in the restaurant getting our food he overheard 2 other corrections that needed to be made. One had a hair in their ice cap and another got no bacon on their BLT.
Also of note is the reason why we check my wrap before leaving, it's wrong about half the time! We get food here 1-2x a week and about half of the time my wrap contains sausage that I cannot eat.
I really love the food at timmies and want to keep getting it but the amount of errors that are made is just not acceptable. I understand that the employees are under a tremendous amount of time pressure and that mistakes will happen but this is...
Read moreI have a thick polish accent and sometimes the cashier's get frustrated with me because they have a hard time understanding what I am saying. Last week I came in for the first time in weeks because of my awful experience with an old women not understanding me. This time I came prepared with a pen and paper. There was a new face on cash one I have not seen. Eventhough it was very busy and there was one girl working the front end while two other young girls stood around talking. Rather than rushing me out the door and getting frustrated she said "hi there how can I help you." Once I said hello back. Her eyes opened and she asked me in MY LANGUAGE if I'd prefer to order in Polish. Of course I was over joyed. It made my experience at this Tim Hortons much more enjoyable. Although I went in today and didn't see the young girl and eventhough the people on cash weren't the nicest and there was a lot of gossiping. I will never forget the young face that made me actually feel like a customer. The five stars are for the young lady on Wednesday that...
Read moreWhenever Pamela is on cash, I look forward to it. A kind interaction at any point during someone’s day is appreciated but especially first thing in the morning. Pamela always greets customers with a good morning which is not common anymore, no matter where you go. I know that they can be really busy but Pamela never makes me feel like an inconvenience or I’m taking too long even when I’m not exactly sure what I want by the time I get to cash. To hear “have a great day dear” means so much to so many people, including myself. She always gets the order right because she actually listens. Majority of the Tim Hortons I go to in Kingston don’t stir my tea even if I request it before the drink is made but she makes a point of doing it so I don’t have a bland tea on top with a hard chunk of sugar in the bottom. It may not seem like much to most but it makes me have a little pep in my step for my day. Thank you for all that you do Pamela. I appreciate your time, consideration and...
