From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were just in shock. We are a family of 3 that arrived around 11:15.
Holiday brunches are notoriously busy, so we expected to wait. However, there was a line out the door and when we looked around all we saw were these empty tables that just needed a quick bussing. Tables would eventually get cleaned and would remain un-sat even with the lineup at the door. It took about 20 minutes to be seated, and when we were “sat”, it was done so by being pointed to a table to go to, which was soaked, table and booth. We used our napkins to dry the space, which weren’t replaced until we flagged someone down when our meals arrived.
Once seated we noticed the heap of milk and creamers that had been sitting on the table all morning, un refrigerated.
We were then promptly greeted by our lovely server, Courtney. Our order was quickly taken, however it took over 25 minutes for food to arrive without anyone apologizing for the wait. They were clearly quite understaffed in both BOH & FOH. The food that did arrive was mediocre, the eggs Benedict that was supposed to be medium had 1 soft and 1 hard egg, the crepe had musty tasting fruit, and the waffles were fine, but nothing special beyond the plating presentation.
We watched several unsanitary practices during our dining experience; one server stacking dirty plates from 1 table on top of another tables plates directly in front of the guest, used glassware being carried with fingers inside the cups (no handwashing in between trips), plates of toast being stacked on top of each other and given to guests.
A manager came over to our table at the end but didn’t ask us how our meal or experience was, just if we wanted a box for one of the plates and then she was gone. A strung out woman then sat herself at one of their tables, passing the huge line. Our poor server did her best to ask the lady to join the line, however management allowed her to stay, surpassing a line and disrupting other guests and staff.
This is the 3rd attempt at this restaurant, all having a negative experience of some sort. We will not be returning.
This review would have had only one star, but Courtney’s effort to provide good service through a chaotic shift...

Yes it's a new establishment but the staff are not trained. Our server didn't even know the menu she looked at our menu to know what came with what.. she was apologetic but obviously the company didn't train her. It's all downhill from this point. I ordered a smoothie and my friends ordered chocolate milk. We then ordered our food and I mentioned I was allergic to pineapple, I saw the waitress underline allergic to pineapple on her note pad. Moments later our drinks came my smoothie had a big chunk of pineapple on it. I repeated again.. im allergic to pineapple. The server took the pineapple off my cup and said "can I just take it off?" I was shocked as she had already done so. I didn't drink the smoothie. My friends chocolate milk was white milk with syrup and was apparently gritty.
We waited 40 mins to see our waitress again. We asked where our food was and she told us it was backed up in the kitchen. We were in a rush as we had to get on the road to go out of town for an appointment. We told our waitress and she left and came back with another waitress who told us she forgot to send our order to the kitchen and that the kitchen stopped what they were doing and is making it right now. 10 mins later our food arrived. We paid for it up front because we were in a rush. Our orders were all mixed up so my friends and I decided we would figure out who owed what in the car. Our food was cold and incorrect.. my friend asked for a chocolate chip crepe with strawberries and instead got a full mixed fruit crepe/pancake. She told our server who told us they opened 3 days ago (they opened a week ago) and we are trying hard to serve everyone in a timely manor. My friend got a bowl of melted chocolate.
Don't waste your time. There is better breakfast spots here...
Read moreOn vacation in Kingston on October 13, 2024. Had seen all the beautiful fruit filled plated here on reviews so we were so excited to finally enjoy a breakfast with pancakes and fruit plates. VERY VERY DISAPOINTED ! ! First the Menu does not show a photo for every choice, it’s left to our imagination. My daughter (26 yrs) asked waitress for a french toast plate with the beautiful fruit, then also to add side of bacon 🥓 and cube potatoes (because lots of people say the potatoes are amazing) and of course with coffee. Unfortunately, my daughter only got a total of 3 small plates, one with 2 small triangles of really thin french toast, one of potato cubes and one of bacon and not one piece of fruit at all. 🥹☹️So horribly disappointed, 😫 😞 totally did not look like the beautiful plates shown on the reviews photos here and it was expensive. So sad. She was so hoping to finally go to a breakfast restaurant to have a beautiful plate of fruit and lots of fluffy thick french toast as pics. My husband’s plate and mine also did not look like the photos. As fruit got a small triangle of watermelon and a couple of slices of orange with skin on; only 2 small pancakes and eggs. We hadn’t ordered bacon nor potatoes but we got those (and had to pay for them) the waitress also misunderstood our order too. So strange, so disappointed. When we got our plates we felt the waitress had mistakenly given us someone else’s order, though waitress said no mistake. The food tasted ok and place is clean including bathroom. It looks like Coco Frutti must have bought a wedding reception hall. So scary and dangerous for those customers that have to sit under the odd and monstrous chandeliers (not made for a breakfast/lunch...
