JULY 2019: We were invited back to the store to enjoy the flavoured ice cream and dipped cones now that a new machine was installed! A vanilla ice cream covered with orange sherbet Bavarian chocolate for Mike, and after much debate over flavour combinations, I decided to get a dipped 'normal' cone, medium sized as this is the largest that can be dipped.

I still don't have it all straight, but if I remember correctly, you can only dip vanilla, chocolate or van/cho twist in the Bavarian chocolate to prevent cross contamination so that means ALL other ice cream flavours will be drizzled with chocolate, not dipped. (hope I got that right!)

A normal cone with MEDIUM size ice cream is the biggest size that can be dipped, a larger size ice cream is available, but it'll be drizzled, not dipped.

I don't think waffle cones can be dipped at all, but comparing with my last experience, I think I'll waffle it next time as the cone collected all the drips where the other was a delicious mess. And I love waffle cones.

Maybe there should be a flow chart? I swear I asked at least twice, both times I visited, but I couldn't keep it straight in my head either time as to what ice cream flavours and sizes can be dipped vs which are drizzled!

!!! Bring a wet facecloth or two in a bag to help clean yourself up fingers and faces - despite your best intentions, the cones will drip!

JUNE 2019 : We came into town just to have flavoured soft serve ice cream dipped in Bavarian Chocolate, but it was not to be.

The machine was being serviced, apparently they've been having constant issues with it, the latest one being shortly before we arrived, so there was only vanilla soft serve was available.

While I did enjoy my smooth and delicious vanilla soft serve in a waffle cone, with orange sherbet, I did wonder what a chocolate covered raspberry soft serve...

Horrible experience. I had never been here before and most likely will not return. First off, there are not 55 flavours of soft serve. There is vanilla and chocolate. There are flavour shots added o the soft serve to make the “flavours” this is super misleading. If you don’t get just choc, vanilla or twist cone, they apparently can’t be dipped in the dips. What? Really? I ordered a twist ice cream in a bowl and asked for orange chocolate on top. The girl serving made an entire mess of it the orange chocolate was dripping everywhere, she didn’t clean it up and put a tiny napkin on it and handed it to me, then I was covered in orange chocolate- I asked for a napkin and she said- there’s napkins over there. SERIOUSLY!? ooookay. So I was covered in chocolate and had to ask to wash my hands. Which she allowed me. Second my mom ordered a mixed “flavour” cone and when she got it it tasted like straight up chemicals - not mango, peach stuff she was supposed to get. It was so gross she had to ask to give it back- and the staff begrudgingly asked if she wanted it replaced- my mom just got a twist cone. My sister ordered a chocolate ice cream and a bowl and it was the only onw that didn’t have an issue. We literally made a special trip from Gan because my sis and mom were visiting and we were SO disappointed. The flavours are confusing, the “no size” on mixed flavours is confusing and the staff were not great. The male staff member was nicer than the female. But I know I won’t be back or recommend mile and quarter to anyone. The whole experience was a weird confusing chocolate covered annoyance. Oh- then I was asked if a wanted a membership card for coffee pods- which I didn’t buy any- and when I said no I don’t buy coffee pods and I’m from Gananoque- i probably won’t be here much- I was told-“oh well it would make you come back here more if you had...

Discriminates against medical exemptions!

This place used to be good, now its actually pretty bad.

First the food: Ice cream was completely melting before I even left the store, they didn't give me a lid, didn't even offer to give me a tray for 3 ice creams until I asked, it was dripping everywhere before I got to my car and was basically inedible by then... an expensive waste of money for ice cream that was unable to be enjoyed by anyone.

Secondly, the discrimination: Unfortunately the last time I was in there (won't say the specific time or day because I don't really want to single out any employees specifically) I was discriminated against. When told that I have a medical mask exemption the person working there said they would take my order but I had to wait outside...

I am an individual who is unable to wear a mask, and I was not allowed to even be inside without covering my face with cloth...

I ask: would they require someone in a wheelchair to wait outside in the heat? Would an elderly person with health exemptions not be welcome inside the store?

Does this business not know the ANTI-DISCRIMINATION LAWS we have here in Canada?

It's time for businesses to start waking up - I will never return to this place if they are going to be discriminatory...

This time it was me, next time it could be you!

I felt like an idiot for even recommending this place to my friends after the experience I had there.

It pains me to write a review like this because I know the impact reviews can have on local businesses -- but I do not know how else to WARN OTHERS.

Discrimination is unacceptable in this country and this city.

I'll gladly delete this review if given enough evidence that measures have been put in place to stop discrimination at this...

A great hidden gem in the west end of the city. We got tired of waiting in huge lines for more commercial places. This place offers an amazing selection. From flavour shots on your ice cream (55 flavours) to dipped cones in flavours like cookies n' cream or ferrero roche (over 12 flavours). In addition, they have slushies with ice cream and so much more. We got a vanilla and chocolate twist cone dipped in cookies n' cream chocolate, as well as a warm skor butter tart with a scoop of Kawartha Dairy Moose Track, drizzled with ferrero roche chocolate. The prices were very fair. In addition, they are a coffee K-Cup store with a wide variety of selection. They also sell those flavour syrups that you can use in your coffee, baking, etc. We will be returning!

This review is based on their ice cream as we haven’t bought anything else from them. We were excited about their seemingly unlimited flavour combos and many Belgium chocolate dips. If you are looking to experiment this is a big bonus, however, each time we’ve ordered a flavour for the ice cream it has been clearly a syrup / artificial flavour added - it is obvious in the taste. In some cases the flavours don’t taste like you’d expect based on the name. If you just order their soft serve with the chocolate dip you won’t be disappointed although on some visited we’ve been skimped on the chocolate dip. Based on other places we’ve had dipped ice cream they do go on the minimal side.

What a fun concept!! First time here and will have to come back sometime, only downfall is that it's so far away from Grimsby! You get a base flavor of soft serve, chocolate or vanilla and they add flavor shots of your choice from their 55 options. They mix it all together and re-extrude your mixed softserve into your cone or cup! $5.09 per mixed soft serve not dipped. They have a fun flavor combo cheatsheet for some fun flavor combos and you can go wild with the options. For me I discovered I enjoy 1 flavor at a time, so I'll just have to come back 55 times and beyond! First one in the cup was marshmallow, cereal milk, and tiramisu. Second in the cone was yellow cake batter.
