I’m a big fan of Tony’s and because the price is right we tend to buy pizza once a month there but I’m now thinking I should look else where.
I called on a Friday night to order pizza and had asked if I can pay by credit card over the phone since I just got out of surgery and couldn’t walk down the stairs to receive the pizza the lady on the phone said no we can’t do that I said can you please make an exception and told her I just had surgery she was quite rude and said while how you going to get the pizza I said my kids will answer the door. She said you’ll have to go online to order it . Which is fine but in the past I’ve had trouble ordering it because I can’t put my unit number in or I couldn’t find Tony’s special . She told me to go online to figure it out and she’ll watch to make sure it gets to the right spot. When I went online I couldn’t find the Tony’s special 3 topping so I had called back mentioned I couldn’t find it she told me I needed to find it she couldn’t help me and was extremely rude with me about it .and said I don’t have time to walk you though ir. She than our a gentlemen on the phone to try to help me but he told me the Tony’s special isn’t on the website and I could hear here in the back ground saying it’s there . He wasn’t being very helpful either helping me find it on the website the lady grabbed the phone and said your tiring up my phone we can’t help you you’ll need to call back in couple hours or don’t order. I couldn’t wait another hour because I had hungry kids . I finally said fine I’ll risk pulling out my stitches to get a pizza. I hung up crying in frustration the whole point of me ordering a pizza was because it was simple and the kids could get it themselves but after this I don’t think I’ll return and I will mention to others how I...
Read moreI went in initially to get a slice of pizza but all the options looked dried out from over cooking and sitting around too many hours. As it was my first time going here and it was 8pm, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and blame most of it on the time of day and then sitting around for 2 or 3 hours. I opted to get a full pizza made fresh. I had no issues with the cleanliness or the time to prepare it. The staff were somewhat unprofessional behaving/talking in a way you would if no customers in the store. The real issue was the pizza is and how it lacked flavour. I typically eat pretty bland food so for me to both notice and comment on it suggests it was really lacking flavour. Even the smallest of things like salt in the sauce was noticeably absent. The pizza wasn't over cooked like the slices but it was some what under cooked and doughy. I haven't lived in the region for 20 years and thought I would try a different place but in hind sight, I should have stuck with the pizza place that have survived the last 20 years as they clearly see doing something right. My suggestion is to pay a few more bucks and get a quality pizza...
