Unicorn Tea House — Restaurant in Ontario

Terrible experience. I will NOT return and strongly advise others with milk intolerances to NOT order here.

I ordered a mango coconut milk with coconut pudding milk tea. I specifically informed staff I’m dairy free and can only tolerate coconut/oat milk; staff suggested this drink instead. My brother ordered double passion fruit, which he said just tasted like canned juice. Results… we both had severe stomach upset and diarrhea by the time we arrived home😢. I requested a hot drink and it was worse than lukewarm; the staff did inform me the machines there do not make hot drinks just somewhat warm. To make it even worse, I also found a blue fuzz/hair ball at the bottom of my cup 🤢! I immediately showed staff and they offered to make me a new black tea and they tried to make it warmer with coconut milk. I admit I’m hesitant to drink it now given the bathroom experience follow up.

The staff were respectful and friendly. The atmosphere felt like a cute little kids shop. However, the quality of drinks, especially milk tea is terrible 😞. I’ll stick to Real Fruit Bubble Tea where I can taste and see the freshly...

Been here number of times… As the times gone by I made a personal preference on the tea I’m drinking. The recent visit was a terrible experience. I did ordered a bubble tea and asked her to add less bubbles (that’s how I like this tea). Inspite of clear request from my end to add less bubbles all she did was bubbles halfway through the large tea…. When you don’t wanna do something let the customer know that you cannot do that you just agree with my request and then make the tea as you like is not appreciatable…. Bare minimum attention to the customer felt like if she was inacting a racist.

Just let us know, if you don’t want us to do the business...
