Wendy's — Restaurant in Ontario

I have had problems with this fast food restaurant in the past but I hadn’t ordered from there in a while so I thought I’d give it another shot. I ordered a simple meal, it was a Caesar salad combo with no bacon. With the combo I ordered a side caesar salad as well. When food got here I had no dressing for either salad. So I called the restaurant and the woman who had been bagging all of the orders picked up and when I told her that I didn’t have dressing, she insisted that she had put it in the bag so just to be sure I checked the two big bags again and I also checked the smaller bags that were in the bigger bags again and then she proceeded to talk slower the second time she told me that the dressings were in the bag because I repeated myself again.

I have two eyes and so does my brother. We both looked for the dressing and it was not there. Now this whole thing could’ve been solved on the phone and they could’ve just sent me the dressing for the $18 salads I had just ordered but instead this woman decided to be rude and ignorant. I will not be ordering from here again.

Ok so the new portobello mushroom bacon 🥓 meal is a complete rip off. We spent $30 for 2 meals and the burgers were squished, the “cheese” didn’t look or taste like cheese at all. It was slightly runny pinkish coloured sauce that only tasted like mushrooms. The bacon was gross. It looked uncooked and soggy with a lot of fat on it. Nothing crispy or cooked looking on the burger at all. I got nachos with cheese and only got 6 nachos with a drizzle on top of cheese. The only thing good about the meal was the drink and it’s because I got it myself. Only take out place to have diet peach tea drink! I’m really confused as to why the burgers were so squished and no sign of real or fake cheese. The pink sauce was all over the inside of the wrapper so not sure what it’s made of. For $30 we should of been handed perfect burgers, a real side dish and more of an effort. The problem of taking it to go is you don’t realize the issues until your back on the road and can’t bring it all back. I won’t waste my time or money getting this burger again. We recently had a concerning experience at this Wendy's, where we purchased a meal consisting of two burgers and chicken nuggets. However, upon arriving home and opening the packaging, to find that both burgers were undercooked, and to my shock, the chicken nuggets were completely raw. This not only disappointed me in terms of food quality but also raised significant concerns about food safety.

When I reached out to Wendy's to address the issue, I found their response to be less than satisfactory. Despite my valid complaint and the clear lapse in quality control, they only offered to compensate for one of the burgers. This response was disappointing, as it did not adequately address the inconvenience and potential health risk posed by their oversight.

While I appreciate their willingness to replace one of the items, the overall handling of the situation left much to be desired. In a scenario where food safety is compromised, I believe a more proactive and generous approach to customer satisfaction should be taken.
