I went here the other day with a group of people for lunch.
When we go there, the server took our drink order and was relatively prompt with returning with our drinks. This is about where the good experience ended.
We waited for about an hour for someone to take our food order - with a member of our group having to approach the hostess to ask what was going on. After that they eventually came over to take the order. What would have been helpful at this point if the server let us know what was not available that day - as we had people go through several menu items to be told they were not available.
I ordered a regular chicken sandwich with bacon on it. When the food eventually came, it did not have bacon. I said this to the server - after they verified they eventually came back with several portions of bacon as an 'apology' - fair enough I guess. I then noticed I got the hot chicken instead of regular - those at my table who ordered the hot chicken got regular. This wasn't the biggest deal - the sandwich was decent either way but when you order a thing for $25 you expect to get the thing you paid $25 for. Again, for the price I would have expected something that at least rivaled or was better than the chicken sandwich from Popeye's, but that was not the case.
The sides were kind of sad. You get a portion of french fries that represent a kiddy's portion at McDonalds and a portion of coleslaw that is so small it might as well not even be there. The fries, though you get

The staff took time to get to know if we were celebrating something and engaged with us playfully. They were excited to share an anniversary card with us, signed by the staff and provided us with champagne to celebrate! Marcia was so attentive and genuine. She was a professional, classy as heck server.
Liam (who has excellent taste in watches!) was like a chameleon engaging with various guests in unique ways. He seemed to know when someone wanted to joke around more, or remain quiet and unobtrusive. The atmosphere was lovely and we felt like we were out somewhere special for a reasonable price point. Quality of food was excellent!
It was an open kitchen concept and what was saw was a well oiled machine. Things seemed clean and organized. We had a number of staff checking in with us and making actual eye contact with tables. No one was unseen.
We returned this morning for a repeat performance with diverse options. My husband’s Montreal Smoked Meat Skillet was fantastic. Better meat than what he had in Montreal (he didn’t go to the right places!).
Thanks for a great...

Place is beautiful, coffee great and service amazing. 3 Sessions breakfasts, 1 eggs Benedict all served cold and 0/10 on presentation. Sessions breakfast served with 1 piece of toast? Who does that? Roasted tomato is a thick slice warmed on a griddle, maybe, not roasted. 2nd round. Food warmer but hollandaise cold (open kitchen revealed sauce scooped out of a plastic container, not kept in a warmer). Ask for no toast or potato, extra tomatoes? Yay, one more slice. Eggs Benedict 2nd time round came on toast not an English muffin. We watched how long orders sat in window and no wonder everything cold. Kitchen needs to learn how to time orders, ensure potatoes are grilled properly, serve 2 pieces of toast, actually roast tomatoes so they have some caramelizing/colour, work on presentation, figure out how to keep hollandaise hot, and ensure the chef working the window is wearing gloves of some sort if he is going to use his fingers to place food on a plate. Oh, and not one manager stopped by the table to check on things. Early days for Sessions…hopefully it will improve. Maybe...
