WingsUp! Belleville — Restaurant in Ontario

Let me just start by saying. I have been eating from wings up ( formally wing ding ) since the late 80s. Origonal location in Milton ontario at wilson and Main street. Then the transition to main and hwy 25..and finally to main and Martin street. Before franchising and spreading out. And while i have normally made the 3 and a half hr drive back to my hometown to enjoy them. I was ecstatic to see a location in Belleville. And tonight. We finally tried them. And they did not disapoint. The wings were large. Cooked perfect and tasty. The "slopy" style sauce ( you must try it ) was perfect. It was a piece of my childhood. Right in my new backyard. Now while these arnt the heat lamp style wings you get far cheaper at a groceries store. They are a wonderful filling meal on their own. We always get the 1lb wing pack. With weggies. Or onion rings. Blue cheese or ranch ( or ceasar ) dipping sauce. And have never once been disappointed. 5 very happy...

Ordered a ,"deal," and of course only got half the order. Didnt mind charging me 44$ plus tip, for 12 wings and a couple pieces of celery. When i called, good old depak, to fix it, i could come in tomorrow for rest of order. Which is actually a great idea, because this way, instead of cereal, i can have wedges and a coke. Super happy that i got that advice, from now on, i will always place an order, but ask them to keep half and ill just come get it in morning. Useless, ignorant and problem solving skills should be part of training... At least there will be a little more parking there, once the place goes out of business and they bulldoze it. I actually was looking to start one of these franchises in the past when I lived in Hamilton and these were the most delicious wings in the world. Not sure what it is but I tried the wings at your location and I'm sorry to say I think you need a better chicken supplier because even though the wings were huge as I always remember them, the chicken itself was not flavorful at all and the skin was chewy and stretchy. Not what I remember. Maybe it was the batch. But I haven't been able to bring myself to buy again especially at that price point which has gone out of control. Not the franchisee's fault. That's the price of a franchise business these days with high...
